You are definitely one of the most respectable cav players I've seen on the servers.
You know how to fight on foot, and you use strategy.

The most important problem is it's impossible to earn gold unless you fight naked. Repair costs and frequency are unbalanced (it should take less gold to repair and they should break less often), and completely random. Earned gold/xp is fixed and doesn't take anything you do into account.

Ive been earning a lot of gold and have been in my normal gear. What's impossible about it?

hahaha you could spin like a fucking top and it makes no difference to the fact that cavalry will choose when and where to fight you. All a foot dude can do is react. Polearms are no counter whatsoever.

That's odd because I tend to kill at least 2 horses every round with throwing axes or war darts, simply with a little bit of battlefield awareness.

Of course I see many of my teammates just take it in the @ss over and over again because they are so focused on rushing to the main battle area, not even scanning the whole field
to see those 3 or 4 cav coming from the rear left flank....

I've warned them till im blue in the face, but they don't seem to care.

No, my pc is pretty "run-of-the-mill" really. Nvidia 9800GT, normal soundcard...  I do use some really nice turtle beach headphones though.

I've only played a few hours, but I can already tell there's huge diffenrence in play style. PPL aren't acting like RAMBO every round nearly as much for starters.
Also, imo, I think ppl are talking way more in team chat about different strategies to try.

Honestly, so far, I like the patch.

One thing I've been noticing tho is that other teamates will come in, drop off a flamberge or expensive item of theirs at spawn for another teamate to use... (no repair cost)

So, either that's kinda exploitive, or an ingenous strategy hehe.

The pw is there to stop ppl from spamming join game if its full. Once the server fills up, (at least on NA), the pop has to go back down to something like 100 until the pw is taken away.
It's all done automatically.

I find it pretty insanely easy to hear cav, both enemy and friendly...  But I use headphones.

Read the website. It specifically says you don't get any special favors for donations.
10 EU is nice of you and all, but it's really not that much money...

Totally agree with 31 as well. I have been playing a "balanced" character (thrower/1h and shield), and when I am at lvl 30 my agility is 17 and my str is 18. At 31 I can put 1 more point into PTWM,
and if I have a skill point saved I can also put 1 more into PSATH.
