Basically everyone in this thread has more loompoints than generations.

That means:

a) plenty of people got jewed (probably unknown casual players), which might be the cause of slow or nonexistent growth of this community
b) upkeep isn't working at all.

I ran almost all of my 19 gens in very light armour. It gives nice amount of cash, you should try it sometimes.

Yeah it would be lovely, but as above mentioned there should be skill limit. Soft cap around 200, hard cap around 300 or so and skill decay so no-one can have "full skills" in everything at once. Like that you could progress through game and change playing style by using new weapon and basically _learning it_.

Because horses have a lot of hitpoints, killing a horse from full hp gives you 10 points or more, while killing the rider only gives 6 or something. Horse kills should not give more points than player kills, so please scale the horse hitpoints/points.

I think it's because moving horse gives quite huge speed bonus. My friend was getting big score bonus just by stopping horses with spear. If score is mostly calculated from damage dealt, horse running to pike will deal huge damage just like couche that is currently broken (overkill damage is calculated for score). And horses often don't have that much armour, so they take more damage than even medium-armoured rider.

I like the new system, it's definitely a step in the right direction.

The biggest flaw of the system right now is that overkill damage is calculated. Couches generate insane amounts of points because the score is calculated by the total damage done in a single attack instead of how much hp the other player loses. Fix this and we will see much more accurate scoreboards.


This. Otherwise I love it! Finally I don't need to rage so much when I hit many enemies during round but someone else finishes them.

Does team damage affect the score?

Yeah my team had cav with 4 kills and 2 deaths, but his score was -4. Lot's of teamhits, teambumping... just like deserved. Guess he raged.. as he killed one team-mate more and got reported out of game after that.

Counting score for couching wasn't working though (unless it's fixed now). They get like 50 score for one kill... easy to calculate though. Couching deals like 250 damage unlike normal hit for max 50 or so... 5x more damage, 5x more score... so damage that goes over maximum hp counts as score as well and that should be fixed.

People that let money stand in bank aren't richest out there as money is losing value all the time. Like... I have over 10 MW items, but still have less than million in bank (and I'm one of those poor guys out there).

Cav limits per server? No way! If you want such limits, you should add IQ limit in game and make people to read basic tactics guides before allowing them to enter in servers.

If you move around without pike, shield, throwing, bow, xbow or ANY long weapon.... and you want to move around solo or just too lazy to look behind...  can't jump or downblock... you should die to horses yes and it doesn't mean they are OP.

I think it's stupid to always nerf things.... just add new elements to game that makes it easier to defeat problems and everyone will be happy.

They can't add playing IQ in patches, sorry.

What I would like to see though, is spear bracing that have been suggested earlier and mod called native expansion has it as well so it's very easily doable. While leaning on pike, horses can run to them and die (so people can actually form shieldwalls with spears in between etc).

Yep. It's because of bodkins. I remember when playing as HA, I lost craploads of money in that gen *hrr*.
