I've been reading the game balance -topic and started to wonder, how many cRPG-player have ever tried using medieval armor? I myself do quite a lot of nerdy stuff, like LARP and padded-weapon fighting, so I've gotten quite used to wear coat of plates over chainmail, closed helms, metal greaces, bracers and so on. So I'd like to hear your thoughts and experiences with real armor. I will propably add some old RL-pics to here of me in armor, if I still find them somewhere .

On the other hand, that weapon will rape any enemy
. If I had to guess, I'd say a spear like that would do about 10-16 times the damage compared to a normal quality iron spear.
