I was banned earlier today due to suicide leeching on the EU1 server. I am pleading guilty to the charge. I know  there is no valid excuse for these actions, so I will not attempt to repudiate my guilt. I am sorry for committing these violations, and degrading the experience of the game for other players.

I request that Durton_mustachier be unbanned under the condition that I never leech again. I enjoy playing cRPG, and have dedicated a lot of game play to my character, especially on the EU servers. If I am allowed to play again, I will support my team, and will not ruin the gaming experience for others.
Please, allow me another chance.

Well, in terms of the marsh map I was thinking no rivers or ruins, and it would primarily be flat.  Yes, it may be more difficult for cav, but you could make some dry areas / paths, along with smaller pools of water that could allow for some navigation via horse. You would likely have to do some fancy jumps and turns to keep speed up. The flatness of the map might make this slightly easier.

Awesome. I was thinking of "dense bits of trees" as well that would act as coverage and battle focal points.

This suggestion wasn't really to end troll polling. It was just to improve polling in general so that the justification for the poll is connected directly to the vote, and is in red so that it stands out. I find that many polls are followed by a bunch of people asking "reason?". Creating the list of reasons would definitely prevent people from writing ridiculous things.

Polls should have a reason attached to them, which can be directly added when the poll is submitted, so that it comes up as red text.
So it would look like this.

Poll to kick player so_and_so: 1=accept 2=decline
Reason: Leeching

Create a swamp/mire map. This would be an overall flat landscape with pockets of shallow water (nothing higher than the waist) evenly dispersed throughout the entire map, but with no large expanses of water. I think mixed vegetation would work well (trees and shrubs in different areas). There would be no rocks / boulders. Most obstacles would be fallen trees or perhaps the occasional broken down cart from someone who attempted to pass through the area.
This picture is pretty close to what I am thinking of.

In that case you shouldn't be able to jump and swing an incredibly heavy weapon while wearing plate.

Jump kicking could be limited to  lighter armor, which would be more realistic and ideal for ninjas. Also, the ability to knock someone down could be excluded, or limited only to those with lighter helmets.

You could balance shield bash by increasing the amount of damage it causes to your shield.

Allow players to kick while in the air. A swift kick to the head should knock your target to the ground. A risky move with big payoff. Probably would afford many hilarious moments in game as well.

Add shield bash.   A quick, short range move that uses your shield to stagger the target, perhaps causing a small amount of damage (similar to kick, but would not break your block). This could also cause damage to the shield to prevent shield bash from becoming over used. I know this has already been discussed on the forums, but I thought I would 2nd the opinion.
