You think so highly of yourself Louie. Some loose connection in your brain seems to disallow you to even read a paragraph in context. You either did not read everything or you just didn't pick up on the point of the matter.  Blaming the  the system, Mexicans, and others for our mistakes? What does that even mean?

If this is indeed the Louie who used to be a part of the Hospitallers, we need to have a chat. How can you go on the forums and post a bunch of subjective adjectives about our leadership when you know very little about what is going on? The garbage you put on the list is not even sensible, let alone correct. I can not even begin to argue these points as each one just seems more ludicrous than the last.  Even if we at some point suffered from one of these traits for a short time, it is ignorant to believe that we are all that you say.   

Now that you are gone and left your wreckage behind you, you come out and pull a stunt like this.   You call us narcissistic, and yet you are the one who consistently blows his own horn in order to be heard.  If you want to have a conversation like real men about your issues, then come to me and talk like the adult you make yourself out to be.  If you want, I can tell you every subjective piece of garbage I have learned about you over the past eight months, but instead I'll see if you have the stones to come explain yourself.  You expect me to jump on that thread and argue with you like the rest of those trolls? You must have been smart enough to know I wouldn't respond to that, so you therefore slandered our name with the full intention that this ridiculous list would go unargued. We have proved ourselves before. Although we have been outnumbered every time and lost in our strongholds, we still played the game to its fullest without all the B/S.

I love it: this thread started because of the attack you initiated and the retreat you screwed up. I was not even of Hospitaller when this occurred. I repeatedly came to you with my concerns. You agreed with them, and then nothing would change--especially these debacles. However, in the interest of Hospitaller, the interest you continue to squander, I will play the patsy: I  full responsibility for this thread.. Therefore I apologize and ask that we drop the matter.

It may surprise you that I am not on this game every day, thus had not heard anything about you. Also, my statement was not a personal attack, simply a statement that you know little about our clan and the happiness of its members, not to mention the maturity level of not only our officers but the average ranker (in which I include myself).

Feather:I have always liked you. I appreciate your loyalty. However, it was a personal attack and you know it. I also do know more than you think--right from the horse's mouth. I never questioned the maturity level of your officers, in fact what I have been arguing all along was to include you officers in the decision making process so to avoid making decisions such as the Khan attack debacle, and those preceding it.

I want this issue to die. Please for the love of God, and sugar on top: lets stop posting. I am not asking you to apologize, I am asking you to stop posting. And the reason I am so serious is because this just continues to hurt the Hospitallers as whole, something that was never my intention. I just wanted to post something that would serve as a catalyst for leadership change, and you guys turn one posting, one fucking posting, into a soap opera.

We were bugged on the character page! However, I knew exactly what I was doing and know what you have GK (the rest of it too, which is very little).

Really? Then please do send me your resume, and I will make sure our HR department gets it. They have various internship programs for people who have yet to graduate from college. If hired, I can show how my team trades in the financial markets--while you arrange for some Starbucks. 

Honestly, the issue was dying and you bring it back to the top of the thread. Moreover, the subject's title reads Hospitaller Cowards, and yet you write only to attack me and defend yourself. And what defense do you present? The we-were-bugged-by-gremlins excuse. Really? Dude, making excuses instead of taking one hundred percent responsibility for your actions is the hallmark perpetual failure. Good leaders will always take responsibility not only for the things that go well but also for things that go wrong.

I stand with everything I have posted about Hospitaller's leadership trifecta. However, it is not the complete picture. The Hospitaller clan has a lot great qualities, and a lot of great players--and yes its leadership is responsible for this. I wish them success.

That really depends on whether you're being paid in crpg gold or strat assets. If it's the former, then it's entirely possible that there's enough spare gold to afford mercenaries. If it's the later, then I actually am somewhat impressed. Either way, the fact that you've actually been hired isn't really a good measure of popularity. I could be the crappiest barber in the world, and I bet somebody would still be willing to throw $5 at me to give them a buzz cut if they have plenty of money to spend and need a simple haircut. What would be a more accurate measure of your popularity is how many different requests you're getting and what prices people are willing to pay. Then again, even with prices, it's hard to tell how popular you are since I don't know the average price for mercenary contracts. If we could get all the mercenary clans to post what requests they're getting for the same kind of work, it would be more obvious. Or if it's something ridiculously low or high like 1K or 1M, I could probly judge without contrast.

Looks like we are at an impasse. You are entitled to your opinion. I would just respectfully note that your barber analogy is misplaced. Indeed there are many barbers found at that price, but there are fewer in where they are getting paid progressively more for their services. As for popularity, our ethos is economic prosperity by ethically fulfilling our contracts. And just like it is not from the benevolence of the barber that we expect a good haircut, but from their regard to their own interest, he does not expect us to go to him because we find him popular even though he gives us a bad haircut.

Assuming you meant 'our stock' rather than 'are stock' by both standards I only see your "stock" going down. If this theoretical stock was supposed to pay out to theoretical stockholders, the gold wipe just crashed that aspect of your stock completely. The same gold wipe also would have lowered demand as people don't have as much to pay for your supply. And now that I've just written those two sentences, it occurs to me that if you're being paid in crpg gold rather than strat assets, both those statements are irrelevant, but I'm too lazy to backspace through them.

But still, if you go by popularity value of your "stock" (aka your reputation), unless you've significantly contributed to any particular faction obtaining an advantage, I don't see how your reputation would have gone up. But if accusations are right about you only executing one attack and then losing right before recontracting to the side that defeated you, it's entirely plausible that your reputation would go down.


P.S. When I was originally writing about the black White Company, my original intent was to point out the irony between their faction name and their faction color. But as I read over what I wrote, I realized how incredibly racist it sounded. So I did the right thing and posted it anyways

Our new contract will guarantee future discounted cash flows after the gold wipe. Indeed if we had not made this contract the intrinsic value of our company would have have gone down. Given that we did, our valuation based on future cash flows is assured after the Gold wipe. As to our stock's valuation in relation to the market, one can argue that we were severely undervalued when we were under the old contract. Under this more lucrative contract, our value went up.

As to your reputation arguments, if they were true, why would DRZ contract us? You are giving more value to negotiation tactics, than to the negotiations' final outcome. Ask yourself, why would DRZ contract a depressed asset after having invested so much in aggressive negotiations? I tell you why: because far from being a depressed asset, DRZ concluded that contracting the White Company would increase its Net Present Value.

Please, stop. I do this for a living.

Firmitas, i think they are talking of your reputation. A better contract = short term gain, a somewhat reliable rep = long term gain 

At the White Company we have all the money we need. Of course we would love more money, but we can afford to lose money. However, we never can afford to lose a shred of reputation, not if we want to survive. That is why the White Company is willing to lose money, but we are not willing to lose reputation. My posts have simply sought  to substantiate this, as well as educate our beloved community on investments. This country faces 61 trillion dollars of unfunded liabilities, Social Security and Medicare as we know it is not going to be there for many in this community. This is why I am dedicated to enlighten this community, empowering this community so they will attain some form economic security via the equity markets.
