found an OSP some days ago that contains a hexagonal stick with a black circle on one end. certainly one of the most ugly items i haven seen in my life. it's so ugly i won't even post the picture because it may traumatize minors for lifetime. it happens to be a hand cannon firing super-edgy icosahedron bullets

Let's see it

So I was thinking a early hand cannon (earliest handheld firearm) that would take a very long time to reload, be very inaccurate, but kill in one shot all or most times. Since they were so unwieldy I was thinking maybe not allowing the shooter to move while aiming them, and making them have a heavy weight of course. There are records of hand cannons being used in the 1300's by Europeans and even earlier versions in the East.

Medieval hand cannon from around 1350: https://www.google.com/search?q=First+guns&newwindow=1&biw=1920&bih=969&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjV-o_21IbLAhWIPT4KHQxJDT8Q_AUICCgC#imgrc=HXp3QF-MktKmZM%3A

These armors are nice, would be even better if we added a 400 ranged 4 slot pike with them!

I say go for it. Reduction of speed though. Maybe 350 or 375 length though. It can't be half the map long.
That sounds fine too, I see no reason why not and I think it would add variety.

With shield? God no... if you're going to use plain item (+0) take military hammer or this new mace, spathovlikon or whatever it's called, you won't be dissapointed :P

I am looking for a 1h sword

I think the choice of 1h weapon can also depend on, if you are planning to use it with or without a shield.

Long espada is a badass weapon with a shield, but it is even more badass without a shield. Same applies to all thrust-oriented swords. By not carrying a shield, you are faster than other classes while using a 1 handed weapon. It makes the speed bonus with the thrust attacks better, and it makes the movement better overall. Which is even more important for thrust oriented swords. It looks damn classy too!

Hmm so is it worth going Long Espada with a shield? I have not been planning to get the Long Espada because people say it is not worth the thrust and is too long

What about the Spanthion and Paramerion?

I have two issues with the LEE:
* The sideswings are really weak versus somebody with heavy armor (which is probably well over half of infantry in NA at this point, including me).
* Due to its length, the LEE turns really slowly during stabs. This is less of an issue if you have an athletics advantage, but it can be a nightmare versus a well armored, higher athletics enemy who backpedals and strafes around a lot.

So I think I am going for the Grosse or Long Espada

What do you think of the Paramerion?

All of the weapons look the same with a loompoint unless you download a texture pack of some sort.  If that is the case than I have no clue.  If you want to find out the stats of a loomed item, go to the regular item in the store.  Then click "Ranks"  It will tell you the difference.

It is a great weapon for dueling and horseback.  Although, I am a shielder who fights groups of enemies often.  The backswing on that thing will hook onto everything behind me like glue, which will leave me open.  Only reason I do not like longer weapons.

Thanks for that and you said you don't like the longer swords like the Long Espada so what 1h weapon is your favorite?

Necro's got it, those two and the dao weapons are nice as well (liuyedao and niuweidao specifically) because they're very fast and fairly strong at +3, and they can't actually thrust so you won't get any of those accidental glances that just end up getting you killed anyway.

So what sword is your favorite?

Long espada you can easily buy for 2 loompoints, just put your offer and in a few days someone will accept it. YOu could even try to buy it for less than 2 lp.

Umm well I thought two loom points was worth like 700k.
