helloOk, so I'm heading off to Rome for my cousins wedding for a week. Yes people, be jelly!
Anyway, I love to cook nice things, and I thought to get as much food as I can with me back to Poland! (Here italian food is expensive, limited selection and overpriced luxury imports..)
I'm talking cheeses, salamis, pancetta, olives, sun dried tomatoes and other condiments.
Where should I go to get it? What brands? You have any favourites? I just expect to be hustled by tourist shops that sell me expensive crap, so I'm asking
I'm not rich, so I'm looking for affordable, but relatively high quality stuff.
This is probably not the best forum to ask this, but nevertheless, some of you might be sophisticated gentlemen well versed in the better Roman foodshops?? who knows right???
I'll take the chance.
