This man is solid community organizer material.

This is twice now that Kais has attacked the glorious home of the proud Peasants of the north at terrible battle times.  His first attempt was early morning on New Years Day!  But we roused from our stupor of the previous night's revelry to feed the crops of Fisdnar with their blood.  I implore all honorable(optional) combatants to rally in defense of The Common Man and reasonable battle times everywhere!

Keep this bidding going, maybe we can break a Strat record and sell it for 100 silver or 20 gold!

Yeah, I bought some goods at a neutral fief a while back and the Squids claimed the goods belonged to them.  They got angry and apparently want me dead over it.  Go figure.

I don't see what this situation between BaleOhay and Kingrimm has to do with me though.

My understanding is that the system was originally put in place to stop people from ruing Strategus with dummy accounts.  I'm glad that they put a stop to or at least minimized this.

I also understand that this system helps to keep the cRPG servers full of people to kill, which both the devs and the community want.

The problem is that the system is based around the hardcore cRPG players and very punishing to people who have school, families, full time jobs, and other things they want to do with their lives.  The hardcore people will never have a problem with ticks, they are meaningless to them but the more casual players who love Strageus feel like they have to work hard at cRPG almost every day if they want to be fully involved in Strategus.

Surely there is some middle ground between these two types of players and a system that works for everyone.

Fun battle.

Turned out about like anyone could have expected but I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

Epic post, Knute.  One for the history books.

Mercenary Recruitment / Bandit extermination

This bandit was caught robbing a caravan on the Great Taiga.  Now he will be punished and his plunder returned to it's rightful owner.

Need a few more mercs for this battle coming up soon.  We have good gear for all classes and will accept almost anyone but we are specifically looking for EU archers.  The bandit has more troops but our gear is far superior and we will not have trouble wiping them out.

Strategus General Discussion / Re: Strategus Changes

ok now seriously, if you do not give us any tips, it will be like a lottery

atm it not looks fine, when I don't know what to do to increase  the chance

btw for two weeks I put all gold to bank for nothing

Just play Strategus.

It could have to do with distance traveled, gold earned, battles won or some combination of these.  Seems like they want to reward people who play the game and do well.  Perform well and see what happens.  Who knows who will turn out on top.

I can't imagine anyone who would believe what you say anymore.

By the way, thanks for letting us know you have another account but I wouldn't advertise this fact if you want to continue playing cRPG.

Just let it go, man.  For your own sake.

Wow, I guess it's bound to happen sometimes when the FPF is so friendly and tries to help new or independent people.  Some of them turn out to be real nut cases.

I never even heard of this guy until he voted himself a fief in the steppes and then promptly joined FPF.  He got all bent out of shape when someone wanted that fief and he wasn't able to hold it.  I don't know all the details but for some reason someone was nice to him and GAVE him a fief of his own and he didn't want to manage it so he let someone else be the owner for him.  Then he flips out and attacks the very fief he was given.  Go figure.

It's probably too late to save face now Joey, so by all means keep posting stuff like this and dig your grave even deeper.

I'm working on a character like this too.  I was originally going to go with 18/21 but after trying 21/18 with a STF character, I'm leaning toward the higher strength.  I found that 6 athletics was plenty to get around the battlefield and outmaneuver almost anyone.  Then again I was wearing extremely light armor so you may be better off with a build like this:

 Strength: 18
    Agility: 21

    Hit points: 59

    Skills to attributes: 8

    Ironflesh: 3
    Power Strike: 6
    Athletics: 7
    Weapon Master: 7

    One Handed: 165

Amateur, you burned yourself out on a great game.

Pace yourself next time, you may be able to enjoy your next great game for much longer.

Good lord. I assume IV feeding and a catheter?

Anybody know any clans that are part-timer friendly?

Free Peasants of Fisdnar is casual friendly and they end up in lots of Strategus battles.  In fact, a large amount of people associated with the FPF aren't technically in the clan.  They welcome independent players who just want to work with a larger organization from time to time.  So you can be involved at whatever level you want to be or have time for.

When you spawn in the NA side of Strategus just head toward the northeast corner of the map and contact ArysOakheart.  The FPF currently holds the city of Rivacheg and of course Fisdnar.

General Discussion / Free Peasants need mercs for a battle!
« on: August 24, 2012, 05:35:38 am »
Check it out, we have a battle that is at a difficult time to find mercs in NA so we're calling out to everyone.  Join us for XP and fun, there is about 200 troops on either side so it's worth waking up for.
