This is balance:
Easy to harder: Polearms>Shielder>throwing>2hander>Crossbows>archery=horse archery=pole cav
Polearms:Full pole spam with axe to shielders ! none can stand against this poles...
Shield:Easiest or second easiest.Just wait enemy attack then attack...If you are pro , pole is better for you ...
Throwing: Too epic damage in crpg.take enemies in 2-3 shoot.Fun !
2 hander:Fight with 130 meters great swords.Fun and balanced.
Crossbows:Epic damage epic accuray but low speed...
Archery:Too bad at crpg...It sucks and hard.
Horse archery:Hard.Your arrows wont go straight ! it is bad...
Pole cav:Crpg mod fucked it for balance. You can only attack straight; it makes you cant hurt peasant with trident...
According to cRPG calculator, in order to get to lvl 25, the player has to earn 1 584 752 xp. Considering the player is gen 1, he/she gets 50 gold per 1000 xp, thus he/she would accumulate ~79k gold by that time. I guess that's more than enough to buy two sets of armor and weapons (the light one to gain money, and the heavy one to stay at zero balance) plus have around 20k gold to pay the initial upkeep money. I don't think it's THAT bad considering most of my alts have way less than that.
Average human reaction time, 215ms.
http://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime/stats.php
However, by no means does that mean humans cannot tell the difference between 0 and 215 ping, or even smaller intervals like 100 or 50. Sometimes the difference can make all the difference. I don't know how fast attacks come at you, or how big of a window you have to block or chamber, but say you have 300 ms to react to an attack, and you have a 200 ms reaction time. A ping of over 100 or under 100 can make all the difference in whether or not you block in time in this case.
Just because you might not be able to consciously "perceive" the difference in ping, it doesn't mean that there is no difference. If you had to slam the brakes on a car, a difference of 50 and 100 "ping" might not be consciously noticeable, but at 55 mph, it means 4 extra feet traveled before stopping, which can make all the difference.
I'm good with the change though.
Even with a x1 for life and you never ever winning ever you can still sustain 23,000 gold of gear.
That 50 percent chance you keep bringing up is an average multiplier of 1.9
If you perform well even if your team lost, you can get the "thy valour is rewarded" text which allows you to keep your multiplier.
