Actually, I have 3 characters, only one of which is a Thrower. You might call me ranged-biased perhaps, as they are a Xbow/Shielder, Archer, and my trash alt Throwing/Shield/Polearm/Riding to screw around with.

Yeah!  What about the rest of us, we're retarded too!

At any rate, it's an interesting idea, and certainly makes sense for some weapons.  What about thrown weapons with a greater heft (i.e., throwing lances)?  The only thing I can think of off the top of my head, regarding historical throwing, are franciscae and pila.  Pila bent after having been thrown, franciscae, not so much -- maybe weapons such as javelins and throwing spears might have a chance of not spawning in a dead body?  Don't QFT me just yet, I'm just pulling this out of my ass.  Still, implementation is also a concern; how will it work (I have next to no experience in anything with the module coding) and how buggy will it be?

I'd support it, if only for novelty.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a beginner question, but I just recently started discovering how fun/dickish crushthrough is.   :mrgreen:  But what increases the chances of it?  Weight and power strike?  Weight, power strike, and speed bonus?  If so, does WPF increase the chance of a crushthrough?  Will the great maul always crush through anything, even 13 shield plated shield?

Don't forget the Huscarlr axe fighting style, which involved the use of two axes of great heft in either hand, allowing the user to perform incredible acrobatics and show off his combat prowess while breaking his wrists and being constantly left open to attack.

This school of axe fighting didn't survive very long, all the teachers died before they could pass on their techniques.

You need some crazy weight for it or it will get stunlocked, I suggest 35020 weight.

With that amount of weight, a crushthrough is guaranteed, right?

But then what about speed; wouldn't that provide a huge detriment?  Remember, we're trying to make the bec balanced, Bob.

Crushthrough! It should be able to slice through anything! So to represent that properly, give it 20 weight, +5 per heirloom level.

Next person to bring up a missed detail is on my shitlist.
