yes please to item + gold share.

Shared account gold & items would actually help new players more than vets.

I only have one +3 item and with strategus coming back I need to stay at level 30+ on my main so now I can't retire anymore to heirloom more stuff which will keep me behind vets who have their whole suits heirloomed.

If I could keep my main at high level for strategus but grind out on an alt on normal servers I could still gain heirlooms and the wealth they represent helping me catch up.

I sometimes get shield health anxiety when fighting 1h axes and rush instead of taking my time

Yeah same, I know I only have 3 hits (maybe a few more if I have my huscarl shield) before things gonna get trickier. I even do poorly against peasants with hatchets when I rush the fight since I don't want them to get any hits on my shield.

I like the way the 1h axe is a guaranteed win vs. other shielders.

I was a thrower last gen using heavy axes and it was comical with the amount of axes I've put into people before they've gone down, or didn't and trudged through the crowd to get me.

That's a problem with axes being considered slashing damage...

I use jarids and they have a very nice punch even to heavy plate users.

At least a little more then a rouncey would be nice, but horses HP are too low and all projectiles seemingly completely ignore armor and get massive speed bonuses against cav and just lay them out with ease, nerf pierce, nerf throwing, nerf bows, or buff cav hp, thanks in advance

If we are talking a jarid/bodkin (armour piercing) shot to the head of a horse that's coming towards the thrower (so extra relative speed), a heavy horse having a chance to surviving that headshot is already very strong. It also definitely takes 3-4 jarid side shots to drop a heavy armoured horse that's circling vs 2 for a rouncey. I think a horse being able to survive more than 4 jarid hits would be fairly OP.

Although Cyber is right, ofcourse, there is something i'd like to add:
One of the best tricks a commander can use to ensure the group stays together is a very simple one: use the same plan the majority of the mob was going to use anyway.

Sounds silly, but it's key to good commanding on public servers. See (or guess) which way most of the players want to go and enforce that with some caps in teamchat and maybe a few voice commands.

Right. Don't try and change the pack into doing something complicated, they can't. If you have a more organized sub-group (a clan or two, some smarter followers) and want to do some more sophisticated tactics, it should take into account of the public pack and what it will do, how long it will survive with depleted #s (if you are detaching your own soldiers, who are usually the better ones).

ride champion cataphract behind enemy lines

thrower takes off half of my horses HP with one axe

lose other half to single arrow from mw horn bow with mw bodkins

leave server

So how many solid projectile hits should a horse be able to take?

We have a clan based around Huscarl characters and it is very effective. Some builds are posted there:

http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,12329.0.html

Throwing volleys soften up enemies, and our shield walls backed by a polearm or two make up for our individual lack of hitting power due to lower power attack and 1h weps. You can also make up for lower power attack and WPF by grabbing a fast, close range 1h weapon like a broad axe, to punch through tincans a piercing/blunt weapon like a hammer or pick will help.

if people were actually organized on siege then defenders would never win haha

BF3 will take a bite out of CRPG since it is a FPS game.

Star wars MMORPG will not since it is a gay warcraft clone.

maybe can be help Dictionary?! http://norse.ulver.com/dct/zoega/index.html

Nice dictionary. I looked at 'H', some words you could change "Horde" to in order to keep "NH".

hernaðr (gen. -ar), m. (1) harryng, plundering; (2) warfare, raid, foray (hefja hernað, fara í hernað).

hjaldr (-rs), m. fight, battle (poet.).

hregg, n. storm, blast (var bæði h. ok regn).

herra (indecl. in sing.; pl. herrar), m. master, lord.

höggvandi, m. (1) hewer, smiter; (2) headsman, executioner.

Some others that were kind of awkward and not very marketable. Sorta skimmed through the 2nd half also, long ass list. There are not very many snappy words in that language.
