I'd say yes, only to see how far the mod could drop in quality still. An experiment to see how much worse it can actually get.

I will never nerf ranged, quite the opposite.
I have said it plenty of times, the problem with ranged is their numbers, not their power.
2 archers can be dealt with, 5 on the other hand, not.

Patchnotes from Panos Balancing:
1. All players with Turkish IPs get their Strength attribute dropped to 3 and Power Strike to 0.

1. Angle restriction to mounted ranged.
2. Lower HP & speed for the camel, lower riding requirement.
3. Bumping as mounted ranged, cancels your stringed bow/xbow attack.
4. Damage increase to all the heavy polearms, unbalanced tag, higher STR requirement, slight speed nerf.
5. Tweaks on the polearm stats, GLA does more damage than the Nordic Long Axe, yet it requres 3 less str, the whole class is fucked up.
6. Bumping causes damage to unarmoured horses, slight speed buff.

Most of that is not what falls under the term "balancer", you will need to find someone who can actually implement most of this anyway.
Well, it is what falls under the term balancer, however crpg has always had this dumb notion that you need to be able to contribute and implement the changes you want to see to get any sort of balancing position. I've said it before, but just because you've got some knowledge of programming doesn't mean you've got the necessary skills to make a game fun or balanced. Sure, you are literally capable of doing it, but your attempt might not be as good as someone who understands game design more. Do you think Tydeus was picked because of his insane skills in balancing or fun-optimization, or because he simply wanted to try, and was able to try?
At least nowadays it seems like crpg has more balancers that don't actually code, so in theory Panos could join them offering nothing more than some good (or bad) suggestions.

When dismounted you lose % of HP depends on speed of ur dismounted horse before u were dismounted.
example 1. If you just stand still with horse and get dismounted you lose 5-10% hp
example 2. If you running with full speed and get dismounted by archer you lose 30-40 % hp
also support everything Panos stands for ,especially about number of range players on server.

If Panos becomes balancer you have 2h nerfed to death, we want that? Yessss

2h nerfed to death, ranged nerfed to death, combat in general slowed down to snail speed but a least maybe we can use a GLA again, or any other weapon that panos uses.

i dont care if they nerf 2h , i can play 1h or polearm, doesnt matter, whole point is to make those archers , HA and other counterable when they are in high numbers
