I just started reading them again too and all those books Forgotten Realms Drizzt, haven't read them since I was a kid. The war of the lance is definitely where to start and then the 3 books about the brothers majere going back in time to the cataclysm. A lot of the others are collections of short stories around the same period.

CHAOS HAS CORRUPTED
Erwin Goml, colloquially called "The Desert GOBBLIN", has ventured far into the Northern CHAOS Wastes.
Erwin Goml came upon the very ancient hall where GOBBLINKINGGREATLEADER was given the THORN CROWN that deemed him the true GOBBLINKING and rightful Master of NA.
As he entered the the Grand Doors, a crisp, cutting breeze flowed through the headbeams and whisked right down Erwin's back, brisking by his rectum, giving his scrotum CHAOS GOOSEBUMPS.
"We need to leave, NOW!" insisted Sandersson, fearing the same corruption that felled his GREATLEADER.
"I just want to touch it" Erwin was inching curiously toward the throne, where resting on the headpiece was a large black talisman which emitted an ethereal white light.
As his fingertips touched the granite smooth surface, Erwin jerked back, pupils dilated completely covering his shit colored irises.
"LET GO ASSINGTON!" Cried the now irresolute Sandersson, "IT WILL CORRUPT YOU WITH THE SAME AUTISM THAT TURNED GREATLEADER INTO A FUCKING MEME WIZARD!"
A murky silence fell upon the hall, and Erwin's head turned slowly. For Sandersson, those few seconds felt like millenia. A smirk, then a grin broke across Assington's face.
"You don't understand WIZ BIZ, mortal."
With those final, stark words, Assington was now...
asperggington smiled like a wolf and he was like a vvery hungry wolf too at sandersson, as his eyelidss shut and he took a deep breath, all the muslcles in his body drawn tense and tight likee a bow string. he stood still, body convulsing, starting slow and then shaking everywhere. sandersson was very scarred, he had enver seen this before.
asperggingtons eyes were all the way red because he was filled with choas from the CHOAS AMULET, a secret legenddary artifcact passed down in CHOAS clan, which was the undoing of GOBBLINKINGGREATLEADER (but that iss a story for another chapter)
"foolish mortal, you cannot understandd the choas in my soull"
sandersson laid a hand upon his sword at his side, and stealed himself against aspergington who was now staring especcially autistically dead in his eyes
he thought abbout what he wanted to say to aspergington but jusst as he was about to say what he thought of, a really, really cold wind blew in to the cold and shaddowy stone chamber, and an otherwordldly howl of pure animalistic hatred-filled unbridled autism echoed throughtout the chamber. sandderssons very semen chilled in his veins, and his butt puckered. sandersson looked into the shadowy grate he did not reazzlise was below his feet... and he saw what exactly he and asperggintgton has feared coming to this choas tomb of the north...
GOBBLINKINGGREATLEADER, his body lying cold on the ice cold stone flooor. his rotten lips shown through with his teeth were showing through them because he was deecomposing.
"NORMIE GET OUT!", the autismal howl echoed again, GOBBLINKINGGREATLEADER'S eyes oppened showing he too had blood-red CHOAS eyes...
sandersson vomited all over himself and ontto the floor, and sprinted out down the shadowy corridor that led to the frozen tundra
he ran as fast as hee could and he was so scared beccause he was kind of a bitch, and his side hurt from running so much... he jumped back on his horsse and flew like the wind away from THE CHOAS TOMB

I had will train for 2 years but was still only know as being good with a sword but not grreat. The assanin leader Allyiuiam said to me "Gisuppe you are you are n olonger my slave. seek out the wizzard Alandin and u will allow to come bakc he said.
Atfer 4 day of travel i stop and restedat the vilage of Barbadof were i saw a fight happening adn i watched. A man wiht a long beard aroun dhis neck stabbeded 2 men and then he stabbed them and asked me why i didnt help his fitgh "thewise w8 for the wniners and bring words, before they BRing out swords"
Silvio(hes name) knodded and jonined me on my journey to find the ziward alanddin.
