Title: Battle balance

with this buffed exp/gold per tick u dont have to balance team that way (unfair so ppl can get x3-5) its really time to make balance so each team has equal chanse to win.

Everybody does have an equal chance to win. Its just which side has better team work that will determine who wins.

A full ranged team usually gets beaten by tanks/shielders etc

FYI, the gold gain wasn't buffed, it was nerfed. It went from 150 on x1 to 60 on x1.

Also, I agree that with things like a Templar stack, there's pretty much no way to win unless you have a clan stack on your side as well, but for the most part, it's down to how well you work with your team, if you lose 4 times in a row then your team are not walking along with the current of the river, you're all walking in different directions, some aren't even in the river anymore.

Learn to work with your team, I highly suggest playing a support role such as hoplite, really forces you to get down and work with your team rather than charging in and dying or not sticking and working with your team properly.

My main issue is that I like to run off on my own and face a large group of players at once, this often leads to me dying because obviously It's hard to take on 5v1's, but I've learned to stick with my team most of the time (Sometimes I run off still because I forget myself)

As someone who enjoys the benefits of banner stacking, it's a bad mechanic for a public video game server.  Pub stomps were discouraged in every public server I've played except for crpg where the mechanic is hard coded into the team balance.  Teams should be balanced by player skill (prob kd ratio or else avg score per round if server can get that stat) and by class of player.  If teams can be fair and group like banners together, great. But overall balance should be factored before banner balance.

As far as I remember you are member of DRZ and atm this clan has the biggest banner stack :D
just check your ts3 activity u tard. Once u join DRZ/grey ts u see like 10 - 20 DRZ in 1 or 2 channels.

There is no intended unfair balance. The balancing script is just a convoluted mess and nobody knows how to improve on it. That said, the mechanics that decide what team wins are pretty complex and I think the balance performs reasonably well. In my opinion one of the most deciding factors for what makes a team win is the degree of cohesion and focus on that team, which is impossible to code a balance for. So many times I have seen losing teams win because I or someone else full capsed a direction in team chat or carried a batallion flag around. This is also partly the strength of stacks, they provide a focal point for the team to rapetrain with, unless of course the stack is the entire team.

I don't think you're reading my post correctly, I'm not complaining about banner stacking at all, I take part in it along with Vanguards AND Templars, given that I'm a member of both. It's fun to crush everyone in my way just by playing with the stack, however, for almost everyone else, not so much :p

My point was that in most situations you require teamwork in order to win, clans are closer together thus a large stack of any clan could easily beat people, due to them sticking together a lot more than them sticking with a pub.

its not about clans, and banners its about balance algorytm, as i see no one understood what i am talking about... I guess my english is too bad to explain what i mean corectly.

If you have a better balance algorithm idea, and you already created the code for it. Put it in the suggestions corner or PM a dev.

Otherwise if you make pointless threads like me that have already been created multiple times, and nothing seems to come from it, just lock it.
