Hey, i came up with an idea, maybe someone had it i dont know - you can tell me and shout at me if so.

How bout once a month or week (sunday , saturday) ppl come back to EU1 and EU2 (different times) so you can play both modes, it would be like 2hrs this and 2hrs this.
Prefereable on the evening.

You dont remember the glorious days of slaughtering and killing each other like i do?

8:00 - 8:01 Counting all attendees (usually takes less than a minute because no more than 4 will come)
8:01 - 10:00 Casual battle mode with special guests Krems trying their hardest to ruin the fun for everyone
10:00 - 10:30 Reserved for whoever baited Ras_Frenzy into a duel (obviously only best of 1)
10:30 - 12:00 Discussion about current issues of crpg including: archery, ranged, bow, crossbow, projectiles, bent wooden sticks with strings and flying pieces of wood with an iron pointy thing at top and feathers at back, macro feints, lag, delay and how getting rekt has nothing to do with personal skills but the previously mentioned issues of crpg
12:00 - 14:00 Duel lessons with your favourite duelist - Ras_Frenzy, titled 'the solution to everything is chamberblocking'
14:00 - 16:00 Excursion to the cRPG zoo/forum to marvel at simple-minded species like Tovis and Leshmas
16:00 - 18:00 Discussion on how cRPG devs are shit and how their new game is going to be crap as well because they dedicate all their time to it
18:00 - dec 2010 Complaining cRPG is ded

x16 is doesn't even work, how can you expect devs to do a working x20???

19:00-19:15        Try to play on server with the awful lag until you get disconnected
19:15-19:15.30   Go for a faprage on fapocalypse to clam down
19:15-20:00        Find some topics on forum to insult krems (eventually fin if it was a bad day) to stay calm
20:00-21:00        Take a look at "My oligarch is the fairest and the kindest" aka Meanwhile in Ukraine
21:00-21:30        Think about a new drama for tomorrow

On serious note: Every sunday evening, there's actually a save server pop.

...i dont think im going to stop arguing about this anytime soon, sooo...

fix the problems that made the players go away, and many will come back. they want to come back, they aint bored of it yet, but the lag, and the unwanted changes, keep them from coming back.
if something is fun, people will play it. if people were that bored of the game, they wouldnt come back AT ALL.

there are plenty of games out there that people play one playthrough or put so many hours into, and then never play the game again, never check or visit again. ever. they simply had enough and put it out of there mind. crpg\warband is NOT one of those games, not for us, we are here because this is our thing and no other game out there comes even close to delivering the combat WE want to play.

i strongly disagree with anyone that thinks the majority of players left due to boredom. and for fanatical medieval warfare lovers, there is currently nothing that matches crpg\warband, this is all we got! i do NOT think people that love medieval warfare will EVER get bored of this game, burnt out maybe, bored? NO. people who put 1000+ hours into a game typically have a passion for that type of game, w.e. it is. the people that put soo much time into DeadFrontier, prob dont think its the greatest game ever made...they just love shooting zombies...its their thing. crpg\warband is OUR thing, we have a passion for it, and nothing else out there come close to providing the sort of atmosphere we crave from a game.

i do think fixes would bring burnt out players back, particularly the lag, and banner balance issue. the balance would take some work, but im told the lag could be solved easily by resetting the server. i cant contribute to that in any way, chadz still runs them, only he can?

the players that come back dont like what they see and arnt having the fun they used to have, a mixture of lack of players and the problems that produced the lack of players.

Its not hard to get a good player base going. Persistent World still gets 100+ players a day on multiple servers.

So that is 1 out of 40 multiplayer mods that has a good player base, how exactly is that easy and what is exactly your point regarding cRPG?

People were saying there was no more populated MP mods for Warband, so I provided one. And not hard =! easy

Just a lil question beside: Is it possible to remove conquest when there are like less than 40 players? Everything below is completely retarded and it's (as I think) the main reason y there aren't any ppl playing siege nowadays cuz there are allways like 15 players, conquest is comin and ppl imo leave cuz it's just annoying to play with that lil amount of ppl.

Hehe ... Mount & Musket and Napoleonic Wars had more players on events than crpg ever had the chance to have on strat battles with up to 300ppl!
But cRPG always went better with the overall population on the servers ....

1:00-02 Log on server, headshot from across map GTX

1:10-30  Get spammed by players with high ping on ludus and get trolled/troll and not really play , GTX or boredquit cuz everyone just left me to kill noobs

1:50- 2:20 play battle until calvary or archers starts targeting high ping player GTX
 2:30-2:50 decide to try again, get spammed eight times by a agi polearm because not an agi polearm and high ping GTX
10:00-11:00 Come back eight hours after I wanted to play to play on NA server, one clan ganking whole server, GTX


12:00-1:00 Finally friends are on, we wreck shit on battle and become the aforementioned clan ganking server,

1:00-2:00 Other clans leave and it eventually ends up clan versus low pop server because organized clans don't stay if they get killed for maps

Remember when it was set to x2 ''for a weekend''? that weekend there were like 150 or more players on eu1 alone. (x2 stayed forever :) )

It was but then the x2 just got normal and ppl didnt care anymore...

If people are playing DTV just for XP please stop that being the case. 15-25 more players on siege/battle would be great, anyone who actually enjoys killing hundreds of bots can do it on single player.

Agreed allthough i dont think it would bring back THAT many players, but would atleast make us enjoy it more than we currently are, struggling with lag. Also theres not really any unwanted changes imo except 2h stab.

Nerf levels, nerf ranged, fix teambalance, fix lag, nerf DTV gold. It might not improve situation player wise, but won't make it worse either. What it will do, make game much more enjoyable for current, tiny playerbase.

the only thing in ranged that needs to be nerfed right now is Throwing. Heavily.

I'd still like to know where defs expect ppl will come from when c-rpg fucks up (what it is kinda doing for like 1 year now). Nowadays there are like 70 playing EU and they expect (for battleground) battles with 100 vs 100 :O. It's like they expect every single c-rpg player to come back xD

there are at least a thousand players who play(ed) once and much more per week, but that has changed too.
wasnt there some way to know when and where the most players were? when they left etc.

Throwing is fine, the only thing wrong with throwing are lances, and if you take them away you'll lose 50% of the thrower playerbase because most other throwing weapons are complete garbage by comparison.
And even with lances you can be ganked by archers and 1 handers at any point during a match. Please don't kill one of the only fun classes atm.
