The pc has 1 gb of ram AND 512 GPU.
It can run AoE 2 with maxed out graphs
please suggest me any good old games to play !

Why would you want to? I get it in high school since you are probably obliged to be at school, but why go to your university if you're not gonna study?

I find some tower / wave defense, custom maps for Warcraft 3 to be fun to play.
Desperados: Wanted dead or alive. A pretty cool western "strategy" game.
Diablo 2. Why not grind while at lecture?

Masters of Magic via Dosbox
DoomRL

typical greek avoiding work even when he chose to be there

Very few games can be played when you're at school/work because most of them ask for undivided attention. If you had internet connection, you could always leech on DTV server. Obvious singleplayer choice would be any turn based game, such as old Civ, HoMM3, stuff like that where you can pause for unlimited amount of time and go back to the game like nothing happened.
If you want to play FPS, SUPERHOT or its newest variant SUPERQOT (http://superhotgame.com/SUPERQOT/) is the best choice imo.

dwarf fortress and OpenTTD. OpenTTD is really great.

Because most people go to an university for a degree, not out of sheer joy of learning.

With 'go to your university' I was not referring to the education choice, but to going to the building. Most universities do not require you to sit behind a university PC if you don't want to, apparently his does for some reason, so carry on.
Deus Ex still holds up decently.

Get audiosurf and connect some dank speakers to the pc while playing.

I'd say HoMM 3 but it was already mentioned. Try Eador but go for first one, second is just shittier version of it. Also a lot of adventure games like The Longest Journey must work on your wooden rig.
Just wanted to mention this, Eador Genesis. Worth each penny (although I got it from Steam Auction :D ). Probably I should mention Battle for Wesnoth too.

Original xcom
OpenTTD
Spiderweb software rpgs
Neo scavenger

I would go with a roguelike, my favorite is Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. The fact that it's turn-based means you can look up from the screen if you need to without pausing/dieing, and you won't be clicking and mashing keys frantically during hard parts.
Also, Yume Nikki. It's made in RPGmaker, but isn't an RPG. It's just weird dream exploration. Strange enough that anyone who sees you playing might ask WTF it is, but not strange enough that they would think you are a weirdo.

Totally OpenTTD or Heroes III if you have time.
We played CS 1.6 whole group. Fun too! 8-)
