Hello chadzians,
I intend to make a video composed of gameplay (and other random associated things) and interviews with at least a dozen people. I will (if work doesn't screw me) start recording (anything that needs to be recorded) on April 12. I will begin looking at submissions on April 6.
I'm looking for:
Accounts of mostly positive memories of cRPG. You can record these yourself if you'd like, preferably on a .wav or .flac file, but .mp3 works too. Alternatively, I can record these while I'm recording you playing. Any old videos you may have, preferably with narration. Any interesting anecdotes you want to tell. Thoughts on (not overly negative) ways cRPG affected your real life. Shoutouts to old players that you lost contact with. Anything else you think might be appropriate.

I'm gonna try and find the CRPG karaoke night threads. Most of it wasn't really CRPG-related but it was one of my favorite times in CRPG. Daruvian sang an original song "kesh is gay" or something like that so maybe that would be worth putting in the time capsule...

my very first video of cRPG. at this time there was a forced server restart every 30 minutes (or so) to update the player stats. there were no requirements for the equipment, too. the only obstacle was gold to buy the stuff. i still remember Mr. Shovelface, he was from NA and had a crappy ping on the european servers. oh and Lamhban as well. he was one of the best fighters back then with lots of feinting.
some map glitch
my second video. it takes place right after wipe of the database and everyone was peasant again.

The fondest memory i have is definitely the Fallen Tournaments, which were organized by Beauchamp i think, and i participated with my first ever clan, ''Risen''. Those tournaments were by far the most fun i ever had in the c-rpg mod, and this was also a time where you could easyli organize such a tournament and expect a ton of clans to show up with a full 8 man rooster. So i supose the Fallen Tournaments was a representation of the golden days of c-rpg, even though some might argue that those are further back in time, during the old xp/gold system.

I have a bunch of videos from a donkey day we had a while ago (Yeah that one with over 150 players on the server and half of them with donkeys). Unfortunately they are on an HDD that's in repairs right now so I won't be getting them at least for another week or two.
