Ok so i probably aint the only one to have experinced bugs after the patch, so here is a thread to list them up i will update OP with bugs posted.

If you meet a bug please describe it with text or photo(s) in spoilers please !
This will make it much easier for me to keep track aswell, with no further adhere lets get to them.

At first I thought the despawning was only for shield users. but then it happened to me on my polearm.

(+7 Heavy Armors' weight penalties)
Additional weight value isn't set for most of the heavy armors. Some of the values which are set appear incorrect for various stages of the upgrade.

A couple of rounds in DTV for the first time since the patch was released and I already got the weapon transforming into a dagger exactly like the one I was already carrying as secondary, and then, another round, I dropped my +3 Longsword and a second later another one appeared in my hands, continuously every time I dropped it.  :D

I think that the bug where your weapon turns into a dagger happens only when you are carrying a dagger (spawn with weapon+dagger). If you pay attention, the weapon now transformed into a dagger is exactly like the dagger you were carrying, and your original dagger is also sheathed on your hip.

And, the quick dagger draw spam, I think it happens the moment you start using left click (to attack) (not if you just joined a server and begin running around without attacking).

As in de-spawns the whole "slot"(Disappears totally) ?
Or drops the slot on the ground and you can pick it up right after ?

Team balance seems broken. It often ends up stacking the winning team with 75% of the players, leaving the other team with 3-4 people.

I drop my gear at round start w/o pressing any button and it disappears on the ground instantly.
And I get something about quick draw and unbalanced as a message all round.

Shield bug is quite nasty, it happens even if you pick the bugged shield someone else left on the ground. Only solution so far seems to avoid carrying a shield. Which isn't the best idea considering some folks already respecced in HA (thankfully their damage isn't as high I feared it will be, but accuracy is rather scary).

I won't get you better examples, because the most extreme cases happen when there's 30+ people on the server, and since the patch Siege really lost on popularity. And yes, I played Battle too, and the balance works totally fine.

I can see what you mean on the first screenshot the second is "mid round" so i would think people just quit.
but never the less if there is something to fix they should be aware :)

I think all the weapon/item swapping stuff is due to a change in the quick draw code that went a tad wrong.

I think I've fixed the item problems though, just testing. (It never ends D:)

Senni if you fix any other i will striketrough them in OP so it is easy to use, so please keep us updated :D

The item disappearing have been written and same with shields duplicating due to the same glitch/bug

If you could name the helmets you have found, with missing textures please share them, thanks :D

Here are some observations I made - hope it helps in some way.

Bug report:
The multi doesn't reset with 3 or fewer players. You get full gold and xp even if you're alone on the server. (Tested on battle/EU1)
You can duplicate your first-in-slot item by sheathing it. The duplicate item bug seems to only occur when the server has 3 or more players on it. (Tested on battle/EU1)

Item bugs:
"Onion Top Bascinet", "Crusader Face Plate", "Dark Full Face Mail Coif", "Dark Mail Coif" and "Iron Skull Cap" have no model.
"Ornamented Sugarloaf Helmet" is not mapped correctly. (Floating helmet)

Probably is until a hotfix arrives.

Here are some observations I made - hope it helps in some way.

Bug report:

This is what Siege Team Balancer did right after the last round (there were no rage-quits anywhere near the balancing stage).

What I've also noticed is that the New players (with score 0) are now easily able to stack into the winning team during the rounds. Unlike Battle however, where Team Balancer gets you sorted before you get to play, this happening in siege is actually a big deal because you keep respawning. I think that this might be partially intentional, although while it works in Battle, it absolutely destroys Siege balance, especially Conquest.

Just two quick things:

- effing annoying "too off balance for dagger quickdraw..." spam in chat, e.g. when you move with your bow drawn

- noble dagger no blade or sheath when on hip - just the handle with a hole... :)

my weapon switch to another shield. And I can't use it properly, or do anything else except moving around.


Maybe not linked to the patch : a lot of RGL freeze.

Verified by several crossbow users when playing DTV and siege: Crossbow bolts do not hit straight in the center of the crosshair, but instead seem to deviate a bit to the right, forcing to compensate by aiming to the left of the target. Something misaligned the aim, somehow.

Edit: It also feels like the bolt deviates upwards, a bit like a thrown weapon, rather than in a straight line and then down.

I didn't know about the siege autobalance problem. I set it so autobalance heavily punishes dying. I need to make an exception for how siege treats kills and deaths.

Not sure if mentioned but some heraldics appear completely invisible frontally. From the rear there is a distorted view of the player's banner, which is transparent. One example is the Heraldic Surcoat over Mail and Plate.

Secondly, the chat bug is still going on. I mean ingame chat randomly disappearing and coming back. This happens with a lot of error messages popping up beforehand. The message says OP Invalid Script or something like that. Not really sure what the exact wording was.

From what I can tell that only happens on some siege maps because of some conquest glitch. You will notice that it only happens on a regular siege map that displays the overhead "select a spawn" view as if it were conquest for just a second or two. Then the game realizes there are no spawns to select, spams you with that error code, and then chat breaks. I've brought it up before but according to san the map team is pretty much dead.

True. It happens only on specific maps where you briefly get the spawn select view in the beginning but there are actually no selectable spawn points. But we still have Tueten and Peasant Woman as active players who are also mapmakers. Maybe they might be able to tackle this issue?

The "Kettle Helmet" doesn't sit on your head. I can see the head and the helmet floats one meter in front of it. Sorry i didn't think of taking a screenshot.

Edit (2015 02 28) : Nordic Pot Helmet, Mail Coif, Padded Coif have the same issue (incorrect helmet position)

Edit 2015 03 08 : It seems these particular helmets have been fixed. The colored skull caps still look like an arrow though.

If you switch the long Voulge from 4d to 2d mode the thrust changes from 33 cut to 20 pierce.
but there is no difference in the thrustanimation. so they should either both do cut damage or both do pierce damage.

I'm fairly certain this is intentional. This allows for the long voulge to rear horses, like mostly all other 2D poles do.

It is meant to change the animation when on horseback. It switches between the regular polearm thrust and the polearm swing like the hafted blades. It shouldn't have different stats though. It's quite weird and i don't understand.

It sheaths my hunting ax when my shield breaks or when i pick up my thrown axes.

I'm guessing that someone else has noticed by now, but in case it hasn't been reported: certain projectiles have texture glitches when they are sticking out of shields. I've noticed it on both arrows and throwing axes.

some hoods are strangly floating over the head... yellow one I think.
