Is everything supposed to be special?Nah,but if they create an extra thread to show them off,I would expect it to be a little special.
TBH,thats not too special compared to what we have now.omg amateurs
omg amateursomg, someone that dislikes my opinion, lets call zhe police...
you have no idea how hard it is to make realistic colored metal textures, and this is just spot-on perfect
please, finish at least one item for any game before you spill such nonsense
We already have similar ones in cRPG,so these arent "special" and i would like to see something that we dont have here already...
Seems like the little nicks and scratches on the helmets are all perfectly diagonal, not that I find this an issue, I am just curious as to why that is? Can you not just draw a scratch in any direction?I believe it's because of the shape of the helmet. The scratches are in the direction the helmet would deflect the weapon.
I am happy with items that are high resolution, rich in detail and overall well-made.
By this you mean that now you have your deadline to get a new pc, right ?
btw, are those PBR textured models ?
Never asked that question. are you going to have any norse/viking stuff?
I know they were on a decline in 13th century but they were still there. Also they share quite a bit of similarities with northern Rus states.
Are there plans to make heraldic versions of all of these items? Maybe with more pattern options than in c-rpg, so players can choose which elements of their arms are displayed and to some extent how.
eg. I'm blazoning a red donkey on a black and white background, my surcoat could be just black or just white or both of them as on the shield or as above but tiled, then I could have a big donkey or lots of little donkeys or no donkeys. Looking at knights arrayed in heraldic armour, they had quite a bit of artistic freedom, so it would be nice to see that in the game.

Are there going to be heraldic versions of these lances?
The armor I'm interested the most is straw hat. Please?
why is there no flags and banners in crpg? naps have it, if im not mistakenEVEN i dont wanna think Krems have some thing like that :(
it will be great
I also animated those flags that zimke made back in February:

For now they will be these simple (But simulated) looping animations. But eventually we want to have a more advanced system, perhaps incorporating wind direction and strength, and a very different way of animating them.
And they will of course not be all waving in sync like there. That's just from Blender as a test presentation. It works in game, but not imported yet though.
You can't use the physic engine for this ?

A general thought about armor/player models:
it appears to me that the armor is too tightly fitting especially around the ankles and wrists. I think it should be way bulkier to look realistic.
You have to realize that they wore padding underneath the chain mail.

and even more so:

Armor should look like armor and not like skin tight leggings. To me this is immersion breaking.
