how do you "get over" a team which cheats, and cheats and cheats, you cant "get over it" when its a reoccurring issue that has not stopped for the past 10 years. Kind of ironic how a team can somehow be first in their league for well over 10 years, and how they have been caught during those 10 years cheating in multiple ways, seems like the winning, and cheating go hand in hand. When they decide to stop cheating and just play the fucking game, then they can earn some respect. But of course that wont happen with the track record of the patriots.
just look at them prior to 2000, see how they werent all that great, kinda mediocre, then all of a sudden a new coach, confirmed to have been cheating since 2000, caught in 2008 fined, never fired, nor suspended, then caught cheating again, years later. All a while, of course they go from being a mediocre team, to first in division constantly winning 75% or more of their games.

if you want a true american sport, look up lacrosse, nothing gets more american than Lacrosse. I dont think most even know it exists, probably not even played in Europe i'd assume.
I played a lot of technical sports when i was in school, from soccer, lacrosse to wrestling. Just like you need the technical skills to be a good player in soccer, so to are the skill ceilings for being a good lacrosse player. Not only must you learn to play with both hands, but you need to be agile, quick, and always remember the ball that is only being cradled in the sticks net, not forcefully held. Just one of those sports that looks straight forward until you pick up the stick and on the first throw you put the ball straight down into the dirt, or throw it straight into the air.
I cant even fathom what other sport could be more american than one brutally gutted from the natives we stole it from, then injected with testosterone, because a american man sport cant be considered a sport unless you can knock the shoes and socks off another player.
Either way the short tl;dr version of it is as follows; Its just like hockey, with the exception that it is played in the air, and not on the ground like hockey or soccer. Its very fast paced, full contact, and hard as shit to play.

Spygate has nothing to do with learning someones plays, which was and has always been a strategy, this was always known. It, however has everything to do with video taping the coaches signals to the linemen as to which play is being called. You cant sit with a fucking spotter in the stands waiting to see the hand signals of a coach, then know which play is coming to just oh so conveniently have a play against it. Thats cheating, and they have been doing it since the coach was hired on to the team. For years he was cheating, and he was only caught one time, and the fine was pocket change to them, so it didnt matter. Then they were caught yet again, on several separate fields, video taping other teams practices, why else would you do that, other then to have a leg up on the competition, thats called cheating. Now we run into the deflation of footballs, and of course none other then the patriots team just oh so conveniently fit into the crosshairs of yet another cheating scandal. Im not sure what else to call it other then rampant cheating for years to keep a team as numero uno for fucking years, and the forefront of it all is money. Why else would the NFL not do anything about the deflation of footballs when it comes to the superbowl, because of money, the money they will lose if they punish the team like they should have. Money, money, money, thats what runs the NFL and hides the patriots from punishment.
