The real joke is that tracksuits are actually super comfortable and practical, and the punchline is that the people making fun of that wear uncomfortable clothing because of "fashion" or whatever.

Tracksuits give off a white trash vibe.  They're on the same level as "black centric" clothing, and if 15+ years of experience has taught me anything, both groups tend to scare off customers.  I refuse to carry either type of clothing in my store and have done fine without them.

Must be my pure Russian blood talking, but i have to agree with Xant on this one... You can't run or falcon-kick anyone efficiently, while wearing jeans.
Shirt?... Can't imagine a less comfortable top ( t-shirt, tank-top, sweater, pretty much anything is more comfortable than a shirt ).
If i had to base my cloth preferences exclusively on comfort, i would never leave the safe haven of my grey sweatpants, a lose hoodie with a zipper and  a pair of ASICS running-sneakers. Can't beat the comfort of these three items.

I'm sorry but if you've got properly fitting, well made clothes of decent material they will be comfortable.  If you buy cheap shit then yeah it might not be as comfortable, but that's the same for a cheap suit as it is for a cheap tracksuit.

Dunno about russia or other slavic countries, but in POland I don't see a lot of guys wearing tracksuits. Dunno, maybe they hide somewhere or live in small towns. No idea.

Though I remember some member of Parliament who showed in TV his house and during the conversation he presented gold necklace and said that he used to wear it when he was dressing more sportingly (if that's the correct word). "With tracksuits?" reporter asked. "yeah..." he answered :P

Before visiting this forum, tracksuits were a Portuguese thing in my mind.

Anyways when it comes to comfort nothing beats being naked with an optional bathrobe for added playboyness. Too bad bathrobes aren't a culturally accepted outfit for going out around here.

Jeans are indeed uncomfortable and restrict your range of movement unless you're wearing Chuck Norris action jeans. I'm sure that's not a problem for a fat, unathletic moron who's a native English speaker and still doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're", but for some of us that's kind of a big deal.

Most comfortable thing to wear for me are cargo shorts, hoodie/T and Vans shoes, no socks. Nothing beats that imo, no tracksuit

Also jeans are very comfortable, you don't wear reagular material skinny jeans Xant you know  :rolleyes: :mrgreen: the stretch jeans is the most comfortable thin ever!

Quality jeans is conformable, rubbish cheap ones are the tight kind. Also quality won't break for a long time to come, unlike cheap garbage. Bought CK 500 euro pair on discount (50 euros) in chadzlandia year ago, still look like brand new.

Have you even worn good suits? They're more comfy than any tracksuit I've worn. Then again, my tracksuits cost about 5% of what my suits cost. Perhaps there are more expensive tracksuits that are comfy.

Only Macedonians and maybe Bulgarians (although Bulgarians were the enemy for centuries). But you should take into account that history is getting complete rewrite last couple of decades, where Vikings weren't barbarians, where Soviet are bad boys of WWII, where Serbs and Croats aren't Slav but descendants of people who lived on Balkan peninsula forever etc. Also, in Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania there are a lot of Gypsies. Many are mixed Gypsies and don't want to admit it (you should see my uncle, brother of my father, he looks like he could be Michael Jordan's dad). I'm white as snow though :lol: (has something to do with exposure to the Sun). Especially in Romania, 90% look like Gypsies.

Never understood why people from Serbia think they are Russian brothers. Polaks resemble Russians a lot more than Serbs. Maybe because of Orthodox religion.

After posting that I got thinking about what a mess it was/is in east Europe since I the day I was born. There's a lot of families around here (central NY state) whose families immigrated in the last 20 years to escape the strife and warfare. World War II ended a long time ago, but Eastern Europe kept the genocides rolling for decades. Had several classmates from Bosnia in high school and my coworker is from Armenia. Her family moved here when she was really young because her father was killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh war.

History in school never covered anything past the end of the USSR in that area. A lot of shit went down afterwards. A lot.

Anyway back to squats and etc.

Armenia isnt really in eastern Europe and technically the Balkans are south eastern. I mean It's really not that bad in the rest of the former Soviet territories from what I understand. Outside the yugoslav wars there wasn't a whole lot of killiing going on and even some of the killings in the yugoslav wars have been ruled as not genocide by the international tribunal.  How much of course was successfully covered up is hard to say.

Armenian genocide happened 100 years ago... Balkan Wars 20 years ago. On the other hand, in former Soviet republic Ukraine currently there is a war, by the looks of it on par with war in Yugoslavia. Only thing missing is NATO bombing of pro-russian side and them slaughtering whole villages as retribution. So far, war in Ukraine resembles Balkan War quite a bit.

sitting on chairs or seats
wearing shoes with heels (especially high heels)
For this reason the squatting position is usually not sustainable for them for more than a few minutes as heels-up squatting is a less stable position than heels-down squatting
