2.0? Doesn't look like an improvement, more like an alternative, really. Modern tanks, PvE and components, with what looks like reduced armor complexity and kind of even more arcadey tank handling and feel.
Even the visuals don't seem like an improvement, really. More vegetation on the maps, maybe

So, first impressions - feels quite familiar to a WoT player, but more than different enough to not be a clone. Have had one good game (2nd highest on team) with my PT-76 starting vehicle, other than that been sucking hard :(
Not knowing maps and fighting against tanks 2 tiers higher is hard.

god damnit, i really want to like this game, but the 100 ping, west coast only server is fucking obnoxious and just outright retarded. The hit trading, and constant spotting are also just silly. I just cant understand the spotting mechanics, how am i spotted for like 2mins behind a hill that you cant see me from. The ping tho, omg the ping, i cant stand it, the bane of me. Impossible to dodge arty, delays you getting into cover after being spotted, hard as hell to hit close circling enemies with low velocity shells, the reticule lag, cant pull back from shots around corners, etc, etc. Its so hard to play competitively with such high ping.
I get the game is different from WoT's, but im a fucking blueberry in that game, and it isnt all that much different, and yet i struggle so hard playing it.
Then if you even mention it some cock bag from Australia chimes in the chat telling you to stop whining cuz his ping is higher, like i truly give a fuck, or better yet some Calimy old friend with 6 ping. I just dont get why you would not cater to the 70% of players who play your game from the east coast.
Anyways, i made it to the Sheridan, and the grind became obscene, so good luck to anyone still playing.

It's still open beta, though, right? Haven't gotten back to this since my grind-time is filled with WoWarships, might do so, once the beta ends.

yep still in open beta. Maybe itll get better when i learn the maps and things, as of right now. It just seems like tanks arent really tanks, like i can just shoot anywhere and pen, and oh boy when i pen with the sheridan, expect 500 damage, nearly half your health with one shot.
