Yeah of course I don't know for sure and I made standard exaggerating accusations, but trust me there's more thruth behind it then one would think.
I just know too many guys who take gaming to a "professional level" and so many of them have some social impairments or exclusively live by their virtual reality. Of course gamers try to uprise the image by themselves, by presenting games by hot girls or making game events like this where they suggest that if you're a good gamer you get rewarded for it. The reality couldn't be worse.
Extreme example of dedicated gamers lol. Just look at them, omg.

Come on, ofcourse there will be some handsome looking gamers with six pack. But let's pick on stereotypes and be fair that most of them gamers look like that guy |
Also why is it called e-sport ? Should be called anti-sport lol.
@Butan/Kuoin I agree on your points with competeting stuff Butan, only thing bothering me is that while you're good at gaming it most probably comes with decline of physical or social ability. You don't have that kind of decline in other brain sport games like chess. There are few e-sport games where you have to make very deep tactical or strategy decisions in order to have success. For me that's no real brain sport, but just exhausting brain functions you already learned. I would compare it sport-wise to chess if you always had to renew your tactical/strategical thinking, but to me it only seems as if the things that matter are reaction time, having a good equipment and making mostly tactical approaches with lack of strategic thinking. That's my opinion.
Video games are games, and games teach us a lot of things (of course depending on the type of game), I believe I've learnt more from video games than books, than school.(click to show/hide)
