Title: Help with Black Company Banner (150k Competition)

I'm looking to improve our banner.  I want to stay with the same theme and colors.  Feel free to be creative.  You can dress the original one up or start from scratch.  Our clan voted on on like 15 banners when we left Fallen.  So even minor changes may win it.  Whichever banner I like best gets 150k CRPG gold.

You guys have a very strong base for a great banner. I agree with a minimalist, but visually appealing design approach which I why I like the black company one so much. It is stylish, yet not over-designed. In fact, a little extra flair might be all that would really benefit this banner.

I wanted to revamp your banner in a more neo-modern sort of way. Keeping your strong base, and just sprinkling some detail here and there. Overall, I am very satisfied with the results, and hope you will be too.

I've always loved that banner.  We debated using the Fallen Banner with a different color when we left.  But most people wanted a fresh start. 

Still much love to the Fallen Brigade.  I'll try to hop on and play some Eu1 with you guys next weekend.

Not really entering cause, well, it didn't turn out quite how I wanted. I just felt like showing it since I've gone and spent a little over 4 hours working on it (the sketch took maybe half an hour, dunno). Stand alone is okay-ish, but on a banner, I'm not that good at making it look good. And of course, cRPG is down and I never got my own banner in Native cause I rarely played it so.... Anyways.

banners; always keep simple, and for the love of god NOT BLACK

half the banners on EU are black and it causes more team hits than i don't know what, honestly the people i teamhit most are mercs because i can't see their bloody banner lol -_-
rename yourself the BRIGHT PINK Company or the RAINBOW Company or something

in all serious though, bright, simple banners are definitely the best, i personally think some of the best banners on EU 1 are byzantium's, ODE's, kalmar's, etc etc (bright, simple banners)

any high res images look shit on banners, look at the merc's history of banners they all look utter crap because they try to get these high res images on their banners, SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE banners! :D


if you want to continue being the BLACK COMPANY, you could have a brightly coloured banner, with a black bit in the middle, it would stand out a lot more :))

Just activate banner outlines Corsair. The green halo around banners makes it close to impossible to not see them.

My personal favorite(s) thus far. I think that the "messy," weathered look (especially on the second one) fits your theme real well... rigid patterns, straight lines, and pristine white skulls, not so much. So many good banners here... gonna be a tough call. Unholy, do yourself a favor and add a deadline for banner submission to keep this already daunting selection process from turning into an impossible one! At this point each member of BC is going to end up voting for an entirely different banner.  :lol:

Nothing against Zlotz, I just would have chose either the first or second one from this. Much more appealing imo, but what do I know.

To be honest.... I liked everything submitted.  The penis one on the first page almost won lol.
