I never understood why most two-handed swords can perfectly recover and block after being chambered. Is this supposed to happen or is it a bug? I think you should get stunned if you get chambered..
-
All chambers are blockable except for 2h stab. This is supposed to be as it is, since it works the same way in native as far as I know.

You should pretty much always be able to counter in some way if you play well, so I think its OK that you can block chambers
-
What is the point of chambering then since most c-rpg players are veteran players? Yeah you might catch one person who isn't paying attention but is it worth the risk to even chamber since it will probably be blocked anyways? I only see chambers being useful to pole-twohanders about to get couched. You can risk a kick to stun the person and get a hit in, you can risk a nudge to stun the person so a teammate can hit or simply reset the fight, but what is the gain from chambering?

Its just an extra move to have in your arsenal. I dont think it necessarily needs to be strong by itself. Similar to how nudge is or kick. There are times when I guess a chamber is going to trick someone or be unblockable depending on your position and when the chamber happens. There are guys like Butan that are all about chambers and use it quite effectively

I believe all three weapon types are unable to block in time if their stabs are chambered now. "Stab stun" is pretty severe even for normal blocks now (people with fast weapons can get a free hit after blocking a stab).

It's definitely possible and it happens, but it greatly depends on timing and animation progress at the time the attack was chambered.

I've noticed that stabs against aware opponents are very risky now (as well they should be, given their reach+damage).

They're really useful against support polearms and mauls, I guess. I get upset on behalf of the person I am fighting when I block their chambers.

Speed of the weapon you are holding? Dunno, just noticed that I've managed to block chambers faster with katana
