The Persian War Axe has an amazing secondary mode, isn't unbalanced, and has 1 more speed...

Amazing secondary mode huh? even with that, and 1 more speed i think 3 or 4 damage buff would be needed.

Amazing secondary mode doesn't really matter when you have 40c anyway. And I think this weapon should have stayed unbalanced. I don't feel it needed a nerf or a buff (maybe a small buff), but this sounds like a huge nerf.

40 cut isn't very much in terms of how much pierce or blunt damage is needed to outperform that amount. Nor is it very much when you consider how many times you have to hit someone with loomed plate armor if you only have 40 cut. On the other hand, the alt mode when loomed* does 50% more effective damage to 70 body armor than the cut side does. This makes a huge difference. Even with a "3 or 4" damage buff to the cut side, it still would be less effective than the alt mode on 70 body armor.

Balanced vs unbalanced is a pretty big deal. Compare the bardiche to the long bardiche (long bardiche is pole not 2H but my point still stands).

Well yes, but there is the inherent penalty of having to switch modes according to armor. Additionally, the length and speed of this weapon in primary mode doesn't really justify getting this instead of a morningstar, because even against naked enemies you won't have a much easier time with 40c than with 38p.

Morningstar is shorter and unbalanced.

Oh damn, i guess i just underestimate secondary modes..

Secondary mode is 32p, 92 speed. It was buffed by 3, but speed was decreased by 1.
