Title: Shield slots

Hello,

Last patch or so, some shield weights and stats were adjusted, causing some 2 slot shields to move to the 1 slot category.

Is this is semi-permanent change?  I'd like to know before I fuck up a build or make a loom trade I'll regret later.

Cavalry pokey stick so you can ward off friendly cav before they "help."

Eh, I don't think they're being changed any time soon. I personally really only care about shields like huscarl's staying 2slot, many of the other shields were bad at 2slot anyways.

i was just gonna ask that

my page only show as far as upkeep

i actually had to do the math to figure out my total weight ( its fat )

Hey man, I always say if you aren't using all your slots, you're not giving it your all.
I like to bring siege shield or wooden stakes if I'm on defense playing siege.  This build I am packing a crossbow and bolts in addition to a shield and weapon.  We'll see how that goes...

I think the shields are pretty balanced right now as well, so I personally wouldn't change a thing.

Not by much, it's only 3 extra weight. I used to have a fauchard sidearm back when I was 1h/hoplite at 5athletics and I didn't notice it much. With high wpf, you don't pay much for multiple weapons.

You using tampermonkey? That's what I'm using (have it for a strat-modding script) and it worked no problem. I didn't even have to modify the the URL.

Script seems to be inaccurate for throwing wpf. (Either that, or I can magically pick up Jarids at 45 wpf)

I don't have any thrower/xbow/archer chars atm so haven't tested if the calculation with those work.
Everything's based on the info in game mechanic megathread (http://forum.melee.org/beginner%27s-help-and-guides/game-mechanic-megathread!/msg341261/#msg341261), not sure how valid those formulas are.

Ask this guy if there are problems. I remember having to change a few things to get it to work.
