Just right-click and use "show picture" or whatever it's called, you lazy bunch :P

Couldn't be arsed to resize them :D

@Torben: I live in Bremen and most of the time I just get out for a ride after work/uni or on the weekend mostly locally. Sportive touring is probably the best description of my driving style. I used to go and play in the dirt but I can't afford that any more.
I love small and narrow roads the most, Autobahn is boring... Like I wrote in another thread before: Straights are only necessary connections between two corners :D

There was this story in our country. One popular spot in the center of town, where bike riders gather. There are always 2 groups: bikers (lether vests, big bellies, beards, all black, n shit) and sports-bike-riders. One new guy from sports bike riders side comes to bikers one day and asks - why do you not talk to us? why not get to know each other better, form one gang, etc? The guys answer him - your group of organ donors is too dynamic to keep contacts with... But we thank you for the organs!

Are you a biker or an organ donor? :)

i commend any person who rides, takes a set of stones danglin to climb on it and go.

id say lets go for a ride, but you might drive on the opposite side of the road, might cause problems.

on another note, 52 ponies doesnt sound like a lot when you here talks of cars on standard with hundreds(in your case, 88), but when something is so damn light, well it truly makes up for it.

once i tried a friends honda cbr1000f, first and only time ive tried 250km/h. it was scary because i didnt have selfcontrol enough to NOT give it more it just wanted me to give it the beans lol and so i did... i went up the road 3-4km and then back again and on the way back i was going down a semi-sharp turn but due to my low weight i couldnt tilt it enough and make the turn properly, resulting in my ending in the grass, scating towards a wood fence - didnt wanna crash into it so i tried to very softly "lay" the 300kg bike down on the grass but cripes, the sideshield broke and i had to pay me friend 10.000DKR for repairs (new sideshield or whatever you call it in english) it was my most expensive joy ride but i have to admit... it was worth it!

it looked EXACTLY like this, awesome machine. i still think its one of the best bikes ever made!

In my experience, accidents do happen to everybody, because you are not alone on the road of course. Being on a bike just makes you more likely to get seriously injured when that happens.

That is - ofc - completely true.
My experience is though that most bikers are much more aware of their surroundings in traffic than the normal car driver. "We" look around more often and with experience "we" actually actively avoid a lot of potential crashes by recognizing careless car drivers at a distance.
It simply comes down to experience really. At a certain point you start to look out for certain car models, certain types of drivers, certain repeating situations in traffic... that helps a lot to keep you alive. Not to mention other tactics and movements bikers do to create more visibility for themselves. Simple things like driving left to right in the dark when some car wants to turn into your lane, making yourself more noticeable... there's a bunch of stuff, most of it becomes an automatism with time.
