Anyone else who watched the movie?
I think the first movie was much better than this one. It was not bad, had some awesome battle scenes (especially the first one :P). And was that ending a cliffhanger? Third movie coming out :o? Xerxes still lives and still has his army.

P.S you'll understand that I didn't really spoil shit except for the fact that the movie is short when you finished watching it.

Indeed. This time it was about the Athenians. Was very interesting. Expect a huge amount of 1hers in cRPG calling themselves Themistocles from now on ;)

Yeah I had some history classes regarding the Persian invasion and I was quite amazed. 300 movie series is highly unrealistic but it's still great. You should especially watch it as a Greek :p
Themosticles is really badass in this movie. So are the immortals :D

Yeah. I would recommend it if you liked the first movie. I watched it in 3D but would personally prefer watching it in 2D. The movie has a very dark lightning which made it hard to see at times with 3D glasses. But that just might be me.

If unrealism bothers you this movie isn't for you :D There's like 15-20 meter jumps from cliffs to ships and extremly far away accurate sniper bow shots. If you weren't too fond of the first movie I'd recommend you wait for a torrent.

And while I realize that first move was done in line with the comic book, I still can't watch it without grinding my teeth when seeing the world's most famous HEAVY infantry fighting naked in order to show those abbs!

No it's about Thesticoles raping a little male kid, which is more accurate and realistic than the first movie.
No I've seen the first one and that was enough; i still remember the goat playing sitar or the transsexuals (typical of those time) or the rhyno-man something.

Are there many mutants in this one?
The first film was only fun for the 'Mutant Drinking Game', every time you see a mutant you take a drink, this includes all of your favourites such as; Golem, Blade-arm, Cave Troll, The Vampyric Legions and the Cheshire Black-Guy.
I think it even surpassed X-men in the mutant department, i won't watch the sequel unless it promises even moar mutants! (i'll settle for more battle-rhinos and Mumakil). Does Xerxes shoot lasers from his eyes in the new one!?
This movie isn't about Xerxes at all. He doesn't lead the Persian fighting navy, but his adopted sister or whatever she is. Think I only saw one mutant in battle. And it's only sea battles.

The movie ends much earlier than the final battle from the first movie where the half-blind guy holds a speech and charges. Xerxes is leading the final battle in the first movie... Which is why I said he's still alive in the first post for those who didnt understand.
