Im quite surpised that Hungary is so high and Slovakia is so low. All the Hungarians I know here in England are skinny, all the Slovakians I know are obese.

My girlfriends part hungarian and she has a big round perky arse that probably accounts for a good portion of her weight, I wonder if all Hungarian women got nice big round butts that could make them 'obese' by medical standards, fuck I'm going to Hungary to find more phat booty bitches.

I'm from the U.S. and from my understanding we had the monopoly on obesity and fat people didn't exist in Europe.

Just as an FYI, Obesity is a "self-reported" problem in the US(at least all the "maps" you see are from that) I assume EU would be very similar. That's why the South US is often "fatter" because people more readliy report it cause there isn't a "stigma" attached.

errrrrm wat? Correct me if I'm wrong but are you saying you are only classed as obese if you got to the doctors and say 'I am obese'? Thats like saying people who stink only stink if they go to the docs and say 'I stink'. Reality is reality, regardless of your own belief.

No, I mean that you get sent a questionnaire from the CDC here and voluntarily contribute how obese you are. No doctors involved. Check your facts before you spout it off. I had to learn that the hard way during a half hour cross examination of research I performed.

Seriously, why are the microterritories more obese than the rest ? Monaco, San Marino, Malta, Liechtenstein, even Luxemburg is much more obese than its neighbours. Although Isle of Man, Andorre and Mellila don't seem to.

I can confirm that Switzerland is far from being obese: a lot of fit and sporty people, and absolutely crap food. Like seriously crap, disgusting food. I'm tired of eating brocoli ffs ...

Obesity is massive overweight. You can be overweight (fat) (BMI 25+) long before you are obese (30+). That said, BMI is not really the best measurement for that, because it assumes a standard training level. Athletes pretty much fall out of all these classifications.

Doesn't look all that fattening but rather healthy food (if we don't count the cakes) :lol:. We make those cabbage rolls in Finland too. They're tasty.

if greeks aren't the fattest the map is wrong. i could swear that average greek chick weights double the ammount of girls in middle/eastern slovakia. which is usually more than their male counterparts ^^
