Title: Dating
Post by: Kitten_Mittonz on February 20, 2014, 07:39:34 am
I'm in high school at the moment and i see many individuals around me dating and what not, but once the time comes to end the relationship they get so down and depressed and w.e. I've always wanted to know what it's like to have someone special other then your family love you, but to me it now that it's a waste of time that brings nothing but pain and not really any gain. But yet people seem to be so happy together when they are dating and they seem to have a lot of fun. I now have mixed in regards to dating and i just want to know what you guys think about dating in high school and if you did what was the point of it? welp?

Why not?  By all means YES!
Never did dating felt as good as it did when i was 15-16 :D And all the girls were 15-18 too, omg, it will be illegal for you to date them in few years, so go for it now! Girls will never look as good as they do in high school.

Pros:
- You will get then needed experience for future endeavors.
- Huge self confidence boost.
- Other males will respect you more ( even if the girl is not the most popular, as long as she is not a land-whale :) )

Cons:
- Breaking up will mess you up pretty bad  ( That one time, all i did after school, was waiting for a girl to call - literally did nothing else but sitting in a couch and looking at a phone )
- You will probably neglect everything else in your life ( who wants to study or do sports when you can date a 16 year old girl?.. )
- You will never know what's on a young girl's mind ( personally, I never understood what's going on :) )

Basically, same thing as dating as an adult, but less sex and an amplitude of your feelings will be a severe one.

Oh High school couples.

So much drama, it was amazing to witness.

Also don't feel down because they "seem" to be happy 'dating'. Seen the worth of that 'love' enough times already, it's A+ popcorn material. They just WANT to be seen happy but it doesn't work all the time.

Don't take it sooo seriously, those girls (other than a few) don't know what they want. They are still little girls inside, again with some really interesting exceptions who are more mature. (Those are the ones I alwas liked, good to be hipstor in errything)

At the age of 15-6, those are rare though.

Kitten,  bro...  you only have this one life,  and every single moment of it is special,  cause it aint coming back.  You owe it to yourself and whom ever made you (parents,  master splinter,  chadz)  to actually do something with it.

dating, now,  is not that huge of a deal if you have done it for a while,  but just like every other activity where you put yourself out there and might get hurt,  it takes a bunch of courage in the beginning.

just like this

dating and love come at a price:  you might,  or even probably,  will get hurt at some point,  but the highs you can get from it are worth every broken bone,  every half assed avalanche and every hangover you can imagine.

But you wished it was the other way around :) Like one of my colleagues likes to say: "I have nothing against dating a 15 year old, as long as she looks as if she is 10." He is around 60 btw :D

That is one of the gayest things anyone has ever said just before they died. Priorities of some people..

Late high school and college is the best time to bang a shitload of girls. You just have to take care of yourself, look reasonably good and go to parties and socialise in/near dorms.

Thats the time of your life when you will probably experience some of the most passionate love since girls will love you for you, after girls become women attraction is mostly based on mathematics...

Its definitely worth it. I got burned a few times recently, hurts like hell at first but then its bittersweet. You come to apreciate the good times you had. Id imagine the regret of not acting would be worse than the hurt of a few breakups

20 years from now nobody will care what your high school girlfriend looks like. Just find a girl with daddy  issues, or that looks like a slut. Your just trying to get your dick wet,not marry her. High school is the best for fun, but dont get wrapped up in that shit. Treat girls like they dont matter, put yourself and your priorities first. Be rude about it, women like assholes, and rude men because it shows you know what you want out of life and will get it. If you strike out in highschool there is always hookers, so dont worry it wont always bee just you and your hand on friday nights

Nobody who dates in high school is the kind of people that'll have a relationship that'll last your whole life. It's for sex and popularity. And to prove you're socially accepted enough to get laid (status).

I wouldn't advise you to go into a relationship in high school with any other reason than for fucking.

This is pretty much the biggest reason to do it at that age, I think. If you get anywhere, use protection. Really. Also, it's never too early to start networking. You never know when someone you meet in high school will turn out to be someone you could find useful later in life.

I think you know these words quite good but I'll tell you agaib.
Girls are just making trouble/problems, trust it or not, you'll experience it early enough but try out as much as you can while you're young.
Try to get in contact with a girl you like, maybe your friends know her or some girls you are friends with...
Good luck bro

There's no easy way for me to explain it, maybe I've just been around idiots for too long. It just seems like we've been changing sexual attraction throughout history and now it seems to be back at square one.

I bet you never heard ol' Marshall Dillion say
Miss Kitty have you ever thought of running away
Settling down would you marry me?
If I asked you twice and begged you pretty please
She'd have said yes in a New York minute
They never tied the knot
His heart wasn't in it
He just stole a kiss as he rode away
He never hung his hat up at Kitty's place

The moral of the story is: be a cowboy.

this scene. This very scene defines for me "modern art".

Modern art is mostly about "uhuhuh, pee pee and vagina"
and then something "art" like, for example, put a bowl of mashed potatoes onto your head

voila, modern art

Of course, there are exceptions (pretty good ones even), but, like, 80% of modern art is like this
pee pee and/or vagina + do something "artistic"

Quote
That civilization has come all this way but social interactions regarding sex and inter gender interaction is still based on cavemen behavior.
"modern art" confirms this statement
