Does this have a model in-game yet? Anyone have a screenshot?

Stats are overtly worse than the Side Sword (and even the Broad Short Sword, IMHO), but new models are always welcome.

Of course judging weapons is a matter of taste, but statwise, I consider this a better Italian Sword. Italian is too long imo, and look how the Crusader Sword differs from Italian when you make them +3 :P

Yeah, the 1h swords of 92-95 cm reach seem to be the "sweet spot" for good reach but less prone to glancing on ground/teammates/etc. And the extra +1 pierce at Masterwork did not go unnoticed (it's one of the reasons I like my BSS so much). Anyone have a screenshot?

The model has been in the game for ages. Don't know why it wasn't implemented before.

Seems fine to me...it's cheaper than a side sword, and has 2 less reach and 1 less thrust damage than a side sword (but .1 more weight).

It must be so hard to balance 1h with the constraint that damage values must be integers. Making the Crusader Sword 29.5 Cut damage would make it perfectly balanced with Side Sword, for instance. Instead it's slightly inferior (although slightly inferior to an OP weapon is still very good).

Worse than the broad short sword (+5 length for -1 speed and -1 cut, not worth it)



However, it looks cooler than most of those!

I'd make it 98 speed and 30c on swings, although that's probably an existing 1h too.

That would be pretty good in my book.  It matches some other swords, but then this one would trade length (93) for a better stab.

It's ok to copy stats of other weapons (look at italian sword and arming sword).
The model diversity is worth having near "duplicates".  Same with armor, as you can see.

This is definitely what the game needed.  Another short stabby one handed sword, it fits perfectly with the generic white knight themed crusader clans.

Make it a 1h/2h like the langes messer, but with the 2h stab instead of polearm stab. Would give it a pretty cool niche and probably not that strong (Estoc would just be a better version of it)

My biggest issue is the model. It's good, but looks really similar to the Italian sword. Guess that makes sense though. Their stats are very similar.

And yet you loomed one :) I like the Side Sword stats, but not the model. So the Crusader sword is the perfect option for those of us that want a stabby sword but want to look more like this guy:

Why even have it then? How many of the same shitty swords do you need? If 1h stab wasn't so fucking silly overpowered and abused by agi pigs it would be scrap metal. I also think smash damage has been bumped up all around. The niuwedao has been wrecking people lately and I had to hit someone 6 times with a mighty warhammer
