Nah this ain't a bitching post, it's actually for all the people that constantly complain about this mod. The devs may have their hands tied, but for being unpaid to create this mod and our admins doing their best to patrol it--I say we have it pretty nice.

So stop being butt-hurt about shit not going your way and enjoy it like this man in the video.

How those light-guns work? I was never able to understand... :( You connect it to an 8-bit console, aim at screen, and PUF! - magic happens! You can shoot ducks on your TV SCREEN, using a processing power comparable to a modern day washing-machine.

Hmm... May be if a PC can emulate the "electron beam" speed, and paints the screen white in a similar fashion... The one who made the original light gun in the 70's was a genius :D

I have no idea about the actual technology (?!) behind it but I pretty much realized that the whole thing was a scam even as a child. You play on one machine, the dang thing is super accurate and makes you feel like Lucky damn Luke. You play on another and you grow ages older with the agony of not being able to shoot one single damn duck. Not to mention that the constant giggling of the stupid dog isn't helping either.

What I'm concerned about is that at some point, late at night, Tanken signs off of cRPG and begins browsing the internet....what he searches for we do not know, but we do know that what he eventually found was "Homeless Dude gets Raped in Ass by Gay Ghost"...

Does this concern anyone else?

Perhaps he was searching if there are other people felt the same supernatural thing he felt.

This game was a lot of fun too.  I could get up to Cheetah all the time, and then I had to be a "cheata" myself and pull up a table.  I'd hold up most of my weight on the table and then be able to move my feet lightning fast. 

Also when you did the long jump stuff, it was easy to just jump off and then jump back on the power pad to simulate a super long jump.  It was all about timing, if you stayed off too long your guy would crash or something like that.

I agree people need to stop bitching about the mod so much, it's a great game in it's current state.  Too many whiners and peoples egos who can't handle dying in game "It couldn't have been ME, there must be some other explanation for why I just got #shrekt"

I don't know about other people, but for me personally 70% of my deaths I go "damn, I messed up" or "wow that person is good" or "&$^% RANGED JWWWWWWWWWWWWs"  :mrgreen:  Because I don't have an over inflated impression of my own skill.

It's only occationally that I go "...how the $&% did he do that?" or "wow that weapon is messed up" - albeit that does happen quite often when fighting Tanken, because whenever I watch him fight I hear THIS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUOe_hLg7Bo) in my head.  :rolleyes:

I'm so happy this thread blew up. I spent a lot of effort editing myself out of that video for it to not go unnoticed on the forum.

I think when you pull the trigger, the tv screen goes completely dark for a second, faster than your eyes can see, except for the target. So, if you're hitting the target, the laser will be reflected back to the zapper and detected, recording a hit.
