Title: Add Black Leather Gloves

Hey!

I want the default Leather Gloves available in black, same stats and model and everything, just another color. Lots of armors would look much better with them, such as:

Light Leather
Skirmisher Armor
Blue Kaftan
Robe
Black Sarranid Dress
Nord Nobleman Outfit
Black Lamellar Vest
...

If anyone of you can recolor them, it would be awesome!

I think it's a good idea. Hand armor in general needs some love, IMO. I already have a few different ideas...

Good to hear, i feel the same way however i could not find any gloves to suggest. there is only one option if you take 1(leather gloves), 4(mail gauntlets) or 8(plate mittens) body armour from gloves but the other values have more choices

Also it will be nice to add some boots in black or dark brown version.

I tried it once but I wasn't patient enough to model. There are many nice guides. :)

You don't have to model for a simple retexture. Get Paint.net or Gimp with DDS plugin, open the correct texture, paint away. In your case, it would be enough to simply desaturate and play around with brightness/contrast.

I have just had a quick go at changing the colour of leather gloves to a darker colour, however this is just a re-texture of them because i dont know how to make them into a individual object:

Not bad for a first try. Maybe you should also modify the texture with the same name that ends in _spec or _specular. Make it a bit darker, and it will reduce the shine of the leather.

Suggested black leather gloves to the council. Also, I added all hand armor without their gauntlet parts, so that you can use them with armors for which the gauntlet part usually clips with the sleeves. Check it out in cRPGViewer.

Any idea how this will be implemented? As new items? Or will there be an option to choose between them (if that is even possible)?

In theory, they could vote against everything I propose. But they won't do that, because they are actually good guys that want to enhance the mod.

"cRPG President" is just a lulzy custom title. chadz is still the real president, of course. I'm just Item Manager. Basically, I have to do all the work, while the nobility just sips some tea and decides whether my efforts have been in vain or not.
