I'm from North Carolina according to this test. Greensboro to be more precise but pretty much the whole area was dark red.
Where are you actually from?Cologne, Germany. :D
I can see how Mary and Merry can sound similar but Marry and Mary? :D Interesting how it varies so much in one country let alone across the pond
Taking it now :D some of the questions are hard to answer. you have a word for the day before halloween? O.o and stuff like drive through liquor store :D and you apparently have names for bits of grass next to a road etc that ive never thought of or heard of, roads are different names but lets see what it says.
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?

I did another test like this a while ago and it had the same result, it makes sense considering the British colonies were all up the east coast and populated by the English. The further you go west, the further you go into a mish mash of dialects and accents crafted from all kinds of europeans mixing with the British.
the second you put roundabout, shit knows you from the uk :Dso probably puts us all in that corner
Yeah the drive-through liqour store was a big O_O from me as well.
Well I am from germany. guess I haven't met enough people from central US.
I seem to be from either Baltimor, Washington DC or Richmond. Not bad. :D
This test is pretty stupid for people that don't have a mother language level in english. I absolutely had to answer "baguette" at some point.
I lost the image but I roughly had Wisconsin and New York blue.
Am I the only one who is really weirded out by the concept of drive-through liquor stores?
I'm from Jersey City or New York. :mrgreen:That's where you want to be from trust me! ;D
You guys don't have a word for the night before Halloween? It's mischief night, everyone goes out and vandalizes something or like shoots random people with bb guns, or toilet paper tps houses... at least in NJ
Oh that night? We call that "Rock salt in the shotgun night" in the south.
