The first one is awesome but its really buggy and it crashed a lot, if they solve the technical stuff the game should be great
Steam download should be available now. :)
This will be the best RPG of the year again like the first.
Library>The Witcher 2>InstallYou can change your download region to somewhere else. Like Ukraina, Korea and so on don't have alot of pressure, thus you can download there.
Space required, 16gb.
Servers are too busy to handle your request.
This may take a while
Nah, it will be Skyrim for sure... Just the amount of sales will be like ten times higher...Skyrim nor Witcher 2 does not deserve the title. None of them are really good when it comes to the RPG part.

Uh.. How can you say that now, over half a year from Skyrim release? :rolleyes:Arrived a bit late but ;
That is easy, it is Elder Scrolls V and all vanilla versions of Elder Scrolls were crap (well Morrowind was not that bad, but still no rpg masterpiece).Said it well.

Morrowind not a masterpiece, you cant be serious. You didnt play it for long enough i think :DThis has nothing to do with the vanilla version.
... the great expansions, great community with plenty of mods...
The Witcher 2 is crazy, it caused me to buy a new graphics card!!!
I clicked on the "use optimal settings" button and the game set everything on "high"... what was definitely a fail, the game was lagging as hell. Then I set the graphics on "medium" and still it was really unplayable, only on "low" it ran fine, but looked f***** ugly. In games like Crysis 2 (but not Crysis 1) or Assassins Creed 2 everything was perfect on highest settings and now this...
So I ordered a new graphics card today, cause my Nvidia Geforce 9600GT is too bad... I chose an Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6870 and hope that it will fix my problems :D.(click to show/hide)
With the new card, my system will be like this:
Win 7 Ultimate 32 Bit
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8400 @ 2.66GHz
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6870
4 GB RAM DDR2
Hope it will be enough to play the game at least on "high" settings.
Don't worry, you will be able to use ultra settings with 100+ FPS, ATi ROCKS!
This has nothing to do with the vanilla version.
The story was great, but then it has the problem like ever other sandbox rpg from Bethesda, time means nothing. It is always like "Damn we have a crisis here, but no need to rush. Take your time, we will wait until you are ready."

Meh, it had many flaws still.
Wasn't anyone bothered that the npcs were all walking wikipedias/vending machines, you could kill all the nobles in plain daylight and noone would ever say something, etc.. For me it was just all to generic.
That's kinda the point of open world/sandbox RPGs, so your gripe is actually with the genre rather than the games, because the Elder Scrolls games are all pretty awesome for the sandbox RPG genre, even with their faults ( barring Oblivion, after a runthrough of that it needed alot of mods to be good after seeing all the broken shit lol ). Come to think of it, there isn't really any RPG's that force you to some kind of time limit, so I don't really see your point anyway, I can't think of a single good RPG that is completely linear and time has some kind of limit.
hey I have that card, I got it for $220 :($220 = 154.60295151089 = great deal for you
