So if anyone else has noticed they went back to the .220 patch with agility affecting run speed, which was taken away with .221. Love it. :))))
-
Even though I'm an extreme agility build, I disagree. Merely because it encourages a certain style of play that's annoying.

Yes lets punish those that dont want to wear plate armor and instagib people with 1 hit
-
Protip: we cannot change what agility affects (hardcoded), so it's the same since alpha v0.0000001.
-
at first i liked the bonus agi gives others, it would be a fun challenge i thought. Then i encountered these speed demons that just run away and use a steel pick when i'm not looking. Goddamn shielders
-
tHEN DID YOU JUST INCREASE ATHLETICS IMPACT??
-
backpedal at full running speed ftw spamming your gla or lhb ect ect.... it gets old
But i guess people who dunno how to manuel block or feint should have a chance too
-
Theoritically, cmp, we could have changed it so that AGI gets set to 0 (or any other fixed value) at round start while the c-screen still shows the website value. With the latest patch we could have removed that feature. Then the pull-facts-out-of-own-ass guys would be correct.
-
Huhm, I don't think I've really noticed. I have 27 agility and 9 athletics. But then again it's hard to make a judgement because before the patch I had a shield and another weapon so of course I'm going to be faster since I have less stuff on now...

Stop trying to pass off what you feel the game mechanics are as fact, please.

Mmh... I though it had been tested (by WaltF4 as allways) that agility wasn't taken into account for max speed. But it is for acceleration and turning speed.
I suggest we buff str asap. The only str build that can work is lame crushthrough, on all other builds you should stack agi for best results.

Nah, good manual blocking + high strength and a high damage polearm/2h is a kill as soon as your opponent screws up. Even high agility characters can't outspam you if you take a measly 12 agility to get ~140 wpf.

No, high AGI can't out spam at all. Because for some strange reason STR makes you swing faster. (As evidence by Goretooth and such all-STR builds being frenzied death machines.) It can't just be the heirlooming, otherwise it'd be ridiculous.

not the case, Gamer. Strength has no affect on weapon speed.

So is nothing explained in this game by devs? Everyone is stuck with having to test things out and hypothesize on their own? No wonder the wiki is worthless....
-
Nope, nothing. I don't understand it really. We don't even get changelogs. Every time an update gets released the forums fill up with "Why do I shoot/throw slower? Why am I getting error messages? Why is this killing me in one hit now? Why can't I wear armor anymore? Where did all my ammo go? Why did my accuracy get even worse? Do ants pee?" Actually, those are all the things I've been wondering since the last two patches. :/
No changelog explaining things. No official reasons posted anywhere. I was forced to retire and all I have to go on now is what is rumoured to be how the game works, and what I've been able to deduce of the changes myself through trial and error. Welp.

You do know that cRPG isnt a game at all? its a social science experiment to see how average people perform experiments to learn more about an environment. Its purpose is also to figure out how well random people work as black box testers.
