Title: I AM [A]TTACKING! AGAIN!

Recently I made a thread about my speed-diplomacy with Greys which I can't find atm, unfortunately.
I tried to provoke someone in attacking me and was aiming for one of the Greys - just for the lulz. And I actually got a reaction from one of them but it was nothing but hot air - how disappointing, right?

Now my Silver falls low, my troops are hungry (not for battle but for actual food) and I need to keep them occupied. Therefore I attacked someone. Namely... lemme check, forgot his name already... Vermilion!
No personal vendetta this time but neither is he inactive like my last target Lanicor. That means... there will actually be a fight! Yes, enemies! :D

I don't filter anyone by faction, skill, build or even level. Everyone is welcome. As much as I would like to see my army of DOOMkeys win, it's just to have some harmless fun.
There will be teamspeak and there will be fun.

My army was marching hard to reach their goal, the DOOMkeys proudly carrying the war machinery.

In a quiet moment the DOOMkey Sergeant - he is just heavy boned, he points out - told me how proud he is about his menDOOMkeys...

That's why I am using a special breed: DOOMkeys! The Donkeys of DOOM!

They are the same beasts like last time... Back then I said... and I'll quote myself here... if the Riders of the Apocalypse would be peasants, they would ride my DOOMkeys!

So, no harm will be done to normal donkeys cuz indeed they are too adorable to be used in war. My DOOMkeys are another kind of beast, they are eager and willing, they are furies to go to war! "To Battle!" they mumble while eating their daily ration of fresh, green grass and I promised them one carrot each if they perform well and with glory!

Haha he didn't tell me he sent that you XD

As he said I was after some good thieves at the time so it was unfortunate timing for an unprompted attack.
So I asked him to send someone to get the guy as I am now locked in battle.

No hard feelings - I haven't & will not be sending people after you.

All good - like I said before... I was merely looking for something to waste my troops and gear on and I didnt want to attack someone afk. You were moving, had a shiny army and a proper troop number so I went for it :)

I hope you keep the DOOMkeys and dont just sell them... they deserve to be in Battle... for they are DOOMkeys :wink:


And thanks for everyone appearing and having a good laugh even if it was rather short. Still, I enjoyed it.

lets farm gold, i will attack you all the time and we split 50:50 :3

Unfortunately that is the outcome when you attack someone at random, they try to preserve their equipment and troops.

Fun battles need to be prearranged (as with all good times it's all about the planning :P) So both side have what they are willing to loose.

If you want fun battles contact Heskeytime (http://forum.melee.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=19697) - He will appreciate any suggestions as to themes and equipment/troops which can be used for the battles.

Check his thread (http://forum.melee.org/strategus-general-discussion/crazy-strat-sundays!/) (There was a donkey battle on Monday)

I don't blame you for that.I just explained the situation  :D but anway, i expected you to be nicer to our doomkeys  :P

Nah, it was okay. I can understand it especially since we actually started out pretty good considering the crappy gear I bought :D
