Someone seems to have a dot on his screen... and someone seems to be a lazy game designer or programer to actually create an accuracy system which also takes moving speed and aiming time into consideration, huh?

1:40 made me lose heart...
temporarily.
I would be impressed if he got all of these head-shots without cutting up the video, though.

Why would he need a dot when there is a tiny little white crosshair?

As far as I saw it only appears when you aim down the crossbow or when you shoot it, but it doesn't seem to be there all the time - or my video quality played a trick on me.

Hitboxes and damage calculation are so fucked up in this game. I tried really hard to love it but I can't.
With every new patch, everyone circles around a freshly exploitable weapon. Diversity is almost non-existent. The guns were totally unnecessary and they naturally didn't fit in well.

WoTR had a ton of potential, but it sadly ended up being a pretty bad game.
Whether or not a player lands a hit is decided by the client of the attacker. This means that if you get attacked by somebody with 150+ ping, it becomes almost impossible to block them.
At one point there was a perk that allowed you to score an unblockable hit after blocking an attack, leading to hilarious 1v1 standoffs where neither player was willing to attack first. I think they may have fixed this now, though.
Plate armor is so powerful that it is literally impossible to damage a plate-wearing player with a swing from a one-handed sword, meaning that the plate-user merely has to block down to become invincible versus such swords. There is also no reason wear anything except plate.
To top it all off, despite the fact that the metagame in pubs hasn't seemed to evolve past early 2010 Warband (figure-8 two-handed swinging, with the addition of plate armor), the devs saw fit to nerf parrying by adding a delay before parries take effect. So now, the handful of players who actually put time in to get good at the game find that the skills they learned are nearly useless against fast weapons. It is far more effective to constantly range game.
There were aspects of the game I liked, that I feel Warband could have adopted. For example, clearly indicating how much damage attacks do, and clearly indicating how holds modify swing damage. Such instances are few and far between, though.

warband>chivalry>wotr
actually if you ask me i don't think these games are allowed to be compared because there's such a big difference between them

Well they are all medieval 3rd person fighting genre so ye, they will be compared, they are different I completley agree.
Just like BF and CoD will always be compared and they are even more different then these 2 but they are competing FPS modren war shooters so comparisons are inevitable.

The best inspiration Warband could take from WotR, imho, would be the squad system where a squad leader can have team members spawn by his side as long as he is alive and kicking. Implementing it in TDM would work out real fine if you ask me.

never really liked the continuous respawn system not even in shooters, always played S&D and similar gametypes. That's why I play only Battle mode in crpg

Actually I loved TDM in native but it sadly isn't available here. But yeah, matter of tastes after all.
