I'd say keep Horsecrossbowing but reduce its effectiveness.
The problem with Horsecrossbowers at the moment is that they arefast, very accurate
and deal a good amounth of damage, these 3 strenghts together cause the problem
with HC we have atm.
I'd say either reduce their accuracy or remove speed bonus for Crossbows while being on a horse.
This would need careful adjusting but certainly improve battle mode.
Imo we shouldn't remove even more variety because that's what the mod is all about.
HX is just a refreshing trollclass and is needed to keep the other cav classesunder control so removing
it would leave w hole which had to be filled with something new.
On the other side halften the amounth of bolts per stack when you spawn on a horse could be a solution.

Imo the "weird" part doesn't count because in cRPG there is so many unrealistic and strange
stuff that hitting HX in particular wouldn't make any sense.

1 of weaknesses of HX is that they have low strength and probably 1 proper tatar arrow might take HX down. If every 5th archer/xbowman decided to shoot the HX during the round, HX wouldn't be any problem.

I feel they have strength, but also weakness : not so great damage if they dont ride into their shot, poor rate of fire, and their build are mostly light-medium armored and easy to take down if their user is not very good.

Anyone playing any class and being excellent at it will always be seen as an annoying person.

This is not true. It takes me 3-4 tatar's from horseback even with speed bonus. They wear decent armor and tatar is just cut. Now maybe a Long or Rus bow that can afford 8PD and using bodkins might take them down in 2.

6. HX has no counter. Only valid counter could be HA, but it has been nerfed to hell so rarely anyone plays it.

 I played with that character 2 generations. Other cav can Easily take down HX. And enemy archers can shoot your horse so no problem.

 Delaying rounds is not builds fault, its choice of the warrior :) Being on horseback gives speed so naturally those guys survives longer

I am playing the class now on stf and slowly realizing that only counter to HX is another HX.

I am being told that this build, which has melee capabilities is not "standard" HX build, but accuracy even like this is unbelievable. I can only imagine what dedicated HX can do with their 7/30 or more.

 But hunting crossbow is lame :) Cant shoot far and damage is very low. I used light cross bow, it takes 2 slots but is worth of it.
When horse stands, is it surprising that if you stand with your horse +3 hunting xbow is that "accurate"? :)
 
 Same thing with standing xbowman guy as well. You should take pic when you are moving with horse.

Just interrupt reloading when the horse moves...

Stationary reloading should be possible from horseback.

I don't care for realism at all on the matter. I GTX even when I have just connected to the server and realise I got wait until some my old friend runs out of ammunition - I just lack the patience for this.

HXs do have counters.My medium armor thrower can easily keep them at bay or they get unmounted,so did my medium armor longbowman.Except for those riding mamluk and plate.

Although the HXs' loading while moving is ridiculus and unrealistic.

Thank you, that's what I was going to post to sum up your thread and all the ragers and whiners who need to learn how to play.   Ground ranged classes don't ever see to try and target horse crossbows (I can understand why when they are both on maneuverable horses, and then it may draw the attention of the horse xbow to yourself).  I don't see a problem with the current horse xbow class, but then again, I'm not a whiney little bitch noob.  I try to learn and adapt to the conditions on the battlefield.

I say either make it so ALL crossbows can only be reloaded while stationary or allow hunting crossbow to be reloaded while moving on foot as well.

You are "stationary" when you're on the horse.  You're sitting down, in a saddle...so I would have to disagree.

It's a video game so it doesn't take into account how bumpy riding a galloping horse really is.   :(
At least make it so they can't reload full stride from horseback, maybe at a trot I can understand.

A good example of a terrible way to nerf something (removing it).
Another bad thing to do is to decrease accuracy, which some have suggested.
