Why? Because it's "promoting suicide". Funny, isn't it.

And what fails of the law do you experience in your country?

Thank god that Poland, being a post-soviet disneyland, is too dumb yet to execute its own laws. I mean, we have same punishment for driving a bicycle while being drunk and severly injuring a person with cut weapons
And when you download a torrent its fine, BUT sharing it is illegal. Or how one of the biggest authorities in anti-piracy community turned out to be using torrented software himself in his company :D
Or police, they barely can defend themselves against any sorts of assaults, and rarely never can use firearms against drunk idiots armed with knives, resulting in stab wounds or worse.

Don't come to Poland, we're already leaving it ourselves.

File sharing is illegal, downloading isn't.

Also, Hungary is almost exactly the same. If a person (gypsy) draws knife on a police officer, he is not allowed to use his fire arm on him no matter how much he feels his life is threatened.
Hungary has also been subject of international protest due to a law in Hungary that allows the government to perform internet censorships. Post-Soviet countries tend to go batshit, it seems.

It's so funny, because in Hungary, cheating is not considered a bad thing. Everyone does it, but if you get caught, that's another story. They cheat with gas meters, construction contracts, which is one of the most disgusting thing I've experienced so far. They make people pay for unfinished housing and lure them in with ridiculously low prices, then mysteriously go bankrupt and vanish along with the money. The documents get lost due to "mistakes" in beaurocracy, usually thanks to corrupt politicians who don't think their wallets are fat enough.

"Looking for a job? Sure, but I can only offer you black work. But you have to work for a week before I can trust you."
A week later
"Thanks for your interest, but we are not hiring at this moment."
"Next!"
"Looking for a job? Sure, but I can only-..." you get the idea.
Free labour, because admitting to having worked illegally is not something most people would like to do, so it's not worth getting caught because of some greedy fuck running some sleezy ass restaurant or grocery shop. The worst thing is, that they don't realize they're fucking themselves in the ass.

I feel so sorry for my cousin who had been unemployed for 1 1/2 years, and when he finally found a job, it was literally the worst job you would want. He had to get up 5 AM every morning to sell some fucking fruits and vegetables.

The situation is so bad in Hungary. It's the same all over Balkan and farther east.

Haha, this song is great. I'm going to kill myself now, bye.

In Belgium you can purchase, sell and own radar detectors, but you can't use one.

In the United States being nude in most public places is considered indecent exposure and is punishable by law. That is straight up the  dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Our bodies can be considered against the law. Women get the shorter end of the stick and may be punished for simply being barechested whereas their male counterparts would not be. A nation of equality to be sure. Of course, all laws vary with jurisdiction.

There is also the fact that we still have a failing prohibition system on many, many substances and punish people for consensual crimes associated with using drugs (ranging from a fine to jail-time, depending on the substance and jurisdiction- getting caught with a gram of weed in Minnesota might net you a small fine, getting caught with it in Montana might put you in jail) while making available and legal two of the most dangerous (Alcohol, Tobacco).

The cultural foundation here is shit.

A person I knew once got his car stolen by some russiancrimebunch. The police sucked. Since the guy was resourceful, he found the bunch on his own with a little bit of help. Got all the names, locations etc etc. Pretty much everything you need to make a serius bust and the police was still helpless. The only time the police really works in this country is when there is a murder or drunk drivers. There is not much murders or organised crime here. In any other case you find them sleeping in their blue cars out of boredom, since this is the most boring country in the face of the earth.

Also a retarded lawloophole in my country a scumbag discovered once: There was some 18 year old dude or something, did some stupidass manovers on the highway, clashed into a car and killed a elderly couple. Than the scumbag sued the elderly couples son for the damages and won. Can you imagine that? Dude kills a guys parents out of idiocracy and later demands money aswell.....and gets it.

Censorship of the internet (what I like to call the last free place on earth, even if it's not an actual physical place) is always dumb. That being said, I think it's because Russia has such a huge number of suicides, proportionally. I think it's the country with the most in the world. Of course banning this song was pointless, in that it wouldn't have had any effect on people seriously considering suicide (except maybe making them not want to do it), and in any case it is probably still easy to find. Attempting to censor it probably gave it more exposure than ignoring it would have. There's nothing that makes people want to watch/listen to something more than being told you're not allowed to.

I can only confirm this.

What a shithole.

There is one political party controlling everything with over 2/3rd of the parliament, they can do whatever they want, and abuse it.

Democracy, eh?

Over internet censorship in Estonia. Imo, its suprisingly free and mostly uncencored, considering we are also sorta a post-soviet shitstate, that keeps getting constant bitching from its fellow Eastern bears. There is some anti-gamblingthingy going on, but its not very well enforced at all. I quess the reason is cause we try to copy Finland as much as humanly possible, so that one day we too could be one of the cool kids and be totally a serius country. Before I had nothing against it, but in recent years Finland has turned into a pretty massive retard especially concerning internetpiracy. Confiscating 4 year olds laptops, blocking the pirate bay and other rather nonsense. I mean this is just silly, what is it turning into another Eurozone pupet?

In Germany you can't watch millions of music videos, because of reserved rights. I call that censored by capitalism. Well its mostly shitty pop music anyway^^

But theres a nice add on to avoid that crap.

well technically it aint censorshipment, because, did the uploader own the rights? i dont think so, thats the law here if you dont have the licenses and rights and still upload it is seen as thievery which isnt wrong in that sentence, you took something you doesnt own, but yet its still an annoyance and ive wished we had something like fair use

This is the webpage of the polish anti-corruption bureau:

http://www.cba.gov.pl/ (http://www.cba.gov.pl/)

Real fancy. CBA, lol.

It's a funny place, I get stopped by police all the time walking on red lights. (Cause that's illegal) So you have this funny situation of looking for police every time you want to cross the street and there are no cars. Idk.. to me that feels oppressive.

Don't even get me started on the cheating culture.. (in RL that is)

Yeah violence is a-okay, but a little sex or nudity gets people up in arms.  Funny when you go into a game server that is playing violent video games, simulating murder and death, and they admins are worried about people using "bad words" because little kids play there.  The irony is amazing in this country.

Seeing as that a proportionally unusually high percentage of those clips show russians doing stupid shit and getting themselves into stupid situations, censoring this video in russia maybe is not the bad idea you think it is.
