Title: inappropriate banner?

Just got this message after all this time... With all the shit banners out there ours is inappropriate? What a croc of shit.

Edit: I'm glad the devs are spending their time doing this and not fixing the strat siege bugs. What if I hand stitched the goddamned banner, dyed it with the same shit from back in the day, took a picture and uploaded it. Would that work?

Alot of banners got purged today, the first time the devs have actually looked at the banners in months.

People forget banners are supposed to be something you would see on a medieval battlefield flag or crest.  I think the fist and fish could be modified and be appropriate.

Devs were probably offended by the pink and purple.  No wonder they won't enforce rules regarding homophobic harassment.

I doubt it, the devs have always had it in for us Free Peasants. They took away our homeland, and now they take away our banner. Next they will take away my champion sumpter horse Betsy.

This game is ruled first and foremost by immersion and your banner is clearly not up to 1318 guidelines of battle standards as laid forth by Sir No Fun, Duke of this is Dumb.

This is also probably an accurate statement since the Devs have a history of non-enforcement when it comes to the harassment of the LGBT members of the community and the copious use of the word "my old friend" in game.

Are you seriously expecting them to forbid the usage of my old friend in a game? Half the internet consists of gay jokes, grow a thicker skin.

It's probably because all the banner slots are full, so they're going out and taking out the non-heraldic banners, as well as the ugly ones.  Can't say I agree with them removing the ATTS or FPF banners.  I do think they should remove some banners, but they should give people the option to change them (not just remove their slot).

I believe someone said before that there is a limited amount of banner slots, that was set by Taleworlds and cannot be changed.

And this is why I think we don't need a community proxy.  What we need is a project manager, because the devs can't seem to prioritize what is important.

If banners are going to be taken down at least be consistent. There are plenty of banners still out there that are worse then the FPoF's,

No, but a purging banners, adding new auction items that will crash the economy, renaming STFs and an upgraded messaging system are way lesser concerns than getting siege equipment working.

Also, our banner was removed due to a bug weeks prior to this, when banners were changed to 60 days instead of 30.  Harald continually assured us things were working properly, even though they weren't.  I have heard he is now admitting that it was broken, but our banner slot has yet to be returned.

What you don't seem to understand is that there is not a uniform "dev" that can do everything. The "devs" all have different skills, and sadly, those with the needed skills to fix siege stuff are occupied with other things.

I payed good gold for that banner! I think 100k if memory serves. Sad to see it die in a fire 7 months later. Also those colours were selected based on historical availbility! Psy obviously wasn't but the colours are legit!

I pulled the fist from a real medival banner and the fish as well. That fish was and many like it were comon umong costal towns and lords they popped up all over the place. So the banner is legit yo! LEGIT!!!

The Fist is for FREEDOM!
The Fish is for FISDNAR!
And the coin the whole thing sits in is because we are some rich mother fucking peasants yo!
