Dear devs you keep nerfing/changing classes that are ok,not perfect, but ok.

- 2H lolstab is still on.
- Pike/Lspear hug thrust is still on.
- Bump slash,bump lance thrust and bump couch is still on.

I hate ranged and with every chance I get, I enjoy trolling them when they QQ about every nerf that their class gets,but lets be honest,they got nerfed because of the 2h elitists once again,you removed jump throw for throwers,by doing that you are going to force the last pure throwers to respec into another class,probably 2h.You introduced to the mod a new hit system,when 2 players can hit each other if they swing the same time,by adding that you made Lancers unplayable aswell.


Servers are full of ranged not because it`s an easy class,but because they are tired of 2h,pike/lspear,bump slash abuzers.

Lets see the last couple nerfs.

- Increased weight to arrows/bolts bows and xbows.
- Max couched damage set to 20.
- Huge nerf to lances
- Removed jump throw for throwers


This is not a whinne thread,its more like a desperate cry to fix the real broken classes..

Good job excluding the balance changes that have affected those classes. Maybe in the future you can just say something like "There's still work to be done". The early hit activation was removed, two-handed weapon rebalance (greatswords made much less good by comparison), Polestagger removal.

In the future, I would suggest not ignoring the positive work that gets done.

I want to set a couple of things straight.

I don`t want a nerf in stats neither in 2h neither in lspears/pikes.

- Just give polearm thrust to all GS,and fix the animations for other 2h swords.
and
- Remove the ability to jump when you are using pike/lspear.

True but they then basically made the HBS and Longsword the same if not better then Greatswords once they got "balanced" sure the BHS and longsword are shorter but their equal to how the greatswords used to be if not better. Not really balancing things if you are just making one weapon that was good crap and then one similar weapon that was okish as good as the first weapon.

In the time I play it,I`ve seen all the other classes getting nerfed to the ground and 2h class staying untouched...wanna know why??

Time to go polearm, since danish/german is useless.

In the time I play it,I`ve seen all the other classes getting nerfed to the ground and 2h class staying untouched...wanna know why??

I have alts you know!!! however I really suck at stabbing with a pike when someone is face hugging me and I really struggle to see how some people do it with real ease. Plus if I actually manage to do it I feel bad for the person I stabbed because I'm using a good 12 foot long pike and he got stabbed with it when his not even a foot away!!  :P

However when they do that the amount of damage they do is beyond ridiculous.

Although we could just settle for.... nerfing the arabian poledancing fairys, all 2hers, pikesand ranged then buffing polearms and cav. Clearly this is how to save cRPG  :twisted:

Funny how his still running around with a SoW (basically a great sword) so much for him playing polearmer, goes to show how unbiased he is  :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Polestun was the only thing that could counter lolstab,got removed because of the 2h elitists whinning about it.

A polearm is longer than a gs,although the lol stab can ghostreach it.

GS are faster,stronger and in some cases can outrange polearms...

polestun was BS anyways i was polearm for a gen played back then on  melee only were you had polestun could just spam someone to dead easy cause he coudnt block or fight back

the reason why the long spear has such high damage is that it has ONE ATTACK DRIECTION, if you cant kill a longspearman then you obviously are doing something wrong, you get those 2h nubs who think they can spam away all day and kill but this is a turn based melee game.

You will find a handful of good longspear/pikemen:
Gurnisson
Largg
Idzo
Teeth
Red_Pike
Oriental

You find a million good 2her's

Dont remove 2h lolstab, variaton is needed in this game, removing lolstab basically makes 2h the same as polearms. Stop the nefs and start buffing other melee weapons instead for faster gameplay. People are already complaining that the game is becoming slow.

This is accurate, however, not only the bump radius but also the maneuvrability of the horse is very accurately depicted, as well as the feature that "kills" your "horse" after being hit by a ridiculously low amount of any kind of projectile (as if the wheels were hit).

Pikes/Lspears are meant to have supportive role,not play solo and kill everything.

panos GS 2h stab isnt op when you dont abuse rotation,
with proper rotation you can stab in point blank, without you need shitload of place to stab proper

all of my kills are supportive kills, im either in a group or killing  cav and some  in 1v1 but that is when someone thinks he can spam the longspear and not think of the consequences of being hit by a high damage weapon, plus most longspear hits are to the head and thus high dmamging

I was not gonna enjoy starting a new class on my main, so i played a little with the new patch... but got bored. So i had a break and after that  break i played Rageball only, so i avoided the battle/siege servers.

If i didnt go to the rageball, then i would be a polearmer now, if i kept playing on battle/siege.... but i dont. So plz get ur shit straight before commenting on something u dont know :) ty.

Haven't seen Largg enough to comment on his playstyle, but neither Teeth, Strudog or Idzo does a lot of spin-jumps, at least from what I've seen. The usual is just to stab in the air to gather momentum and then drag it down in their face. I only use the jump myself when I use the pike, because you'll glance most of the time if you don't. With a long spear (I.E. in strat battles) you won't see me doing the lolspins. Remove the jump with my pike and I'll quit nerfing myself and use the long spear instead... :)

It's quite true what you said about the numbers, the amount of very good pikemen/long spearmen is very low compared to great players using greatswords or dueling polearms. That's mostly because GS and long polearms has good support ability with the long stab/overhead while still having 2-3 other great attacking directions. Also, Strudog, you forgot to mention Red_Pike/Oriental. Great pikeman.

i will only use the jump when i am being ganked otherwise it is pretty useless (you just get stabbed in the back in a 1v1)

I do, when getting ganked I jump and turn to get enough distance before I stab. Mostly because if your up and down stab gets blocked by the first guy, you won't be able to block the second guy's attack.

You can call it abusing animations but that is what the entire game is about, finding the tricks of your weapon. The average player can attack and block just fine, the good players know all the tricks.  Longspear/pike have a rather limited bag of them, just stop thinking that they are a free kill at close range and you'll be fine.

Before I post my opinion, I'm a bit confused as the 2nd statement there seems to contradict the others.
Can you also find me examples of bump lance thrust and bump couch?

I am a lancer and Ive done it plenty times,you bump with the horse and then you aim down with the lance.

yh players who have specialized in weapons often know their weapon extremely good, it's really like it's become an extend of theirselves rather then a tool. I play too much different builds and sometimes it takes some adjusting switching between say polearm and 1h shielder, they're two different playing styles but i can see people who i see playong certain classes dedicated.

Truth, JackieChan & Royanss are master bump lance/slash others are usually easily avoided avoided though, if you play it cool. ;)
