Title: no goods crafting, what is there to steal ?

You don't craft goods, you buy them in one fief and sell them in another. ;)

So, you can still rob people for that purpose.

aaah cool, so what is the difference between villages cities and castles now ?

is it better to buy at a village and sell at a city or vice versa ?

where do castles come into play ?

It's all about fief action points..

villages start with 200, gain 1 per day
castles start with 100, gain 5 per day
cities start with 0, gain 7 per day

So after 1 month castles & cities overtake villages, after 2 months cities overtake castles. Villages are still useful cuz they can be specialized in 1-3 things. Like producing trade goods or 2-3 masterwork items at decent discount. Castles and cities will assume more unique characters over time.

Do you mean that the owner will decide what to produce? I was under the impression that AI villages produced only one goods and that was it. How does this affect trading?

Fief owner decide what equip they sell and improve. Not sure about trade goods, I believe that only 1 trade good per fief is being sold though. But no idea..

There is only one trade good per fief, however fief owners may manipulate the price of that good.  Purchase/Sale price defaults to 15 (or 15.15 with the default 1% tax) but can be adjusted higher or lower, affecting profits of selling / buying there.

Took me 12 hours and i've only gone ~14kM(26km-12kM remaining)

Seems you move  AWFUL slow in strat right now.

how do you sell your tradegoods? under equipment?

on the first page when you go into a city .. the further away you go the more money you make .. but also if you have a full hold you make a better profit ... right now it's probably more profitable to sell to the next village and then move on with a full hold ;)
