Hello @ all,

my current aim is level 33 and I won't retire anymore as I'm happy with my MW weapon.
Though, I would really like to change my name, as I use it now for one year and a half (the rename function didn't exist in the early phase of cRPG). In other games I usually change my online-name every week, but in cRPG it's only allowed when retiring. WHY? This is so goddamn unnecessary. I can't even advance my name like Bl0rk_theD00d or something like that, because it's not a clan tag. But also it isn't a full name change, is it?
Please allow full name changes without retiring, as I won't retire ever again. If you want, you can take a high price for it, like 10k gold or more. I would gladly pay it, just for getting a new name!

Item on the marketplace anyone? There's one to fully change your build, why not your name? We could call it a "Deed Poll".

Actually, you could ask kind admins for a complete namechange.

But, problem is, most of them have good taste, so since the new nick you want has vowel-replacing numbers in it I don't think they will accept.

At least there are no upper case letters in the middle of words.

It was just an example. Bl0rk_theD00d sounds like bullshit, that's for sure. It would be something completely different. Maybe I should really ask the devs, though I'm not very sure, if they're going to make an exception from the norm.

Just try to add a name as some kind of tag and remove the original name a few days
later, worked for me hundreds of times.

Yea I had the same idea and already tried it a few times. My name always stayed Bl0rk. I guess the name is too stupid to count as a clan tag for the devs...

Still I don't see the reason, why full name changes require retire. Shall it be something like realism? New person = new name? This is just bullshit, as it's a f***** game! Please let me change my damn name, don't wanna see it anymore, it's such a stupid and ugly one...!

One of the reasons (or actually i think the only reason) we do not allow full name changes any time you want is that it would become too easy to get rid of a bad reputation.

I'm totally clean! The only person I ever insulted in cRPG is Lech_the_Grey for ragepolling on EU2 all the time! Though I think that the biggest part of the non-Grey players hates him.  :mrgreen:

As often as I tried, I think the admins already rage-deny name change requests by me. This thread won't make it better, I guess.  :?

my main is level 33 and i have played as Herkkutatti over year and my current name is STR_Rat so can  i get a namechange? everyone knows that it's me   8-)
+ i would not clean my reputation by changing name, it would be even worse than now.

They would probably allow changing that 0 to an o, which I recommend you do immediately.

You can add anything you want to a name, just use an underscore before or after your name and in between the other words.  Anything can be a clan tag, it's not like the dev's are searching for any other clans with that tag.  And even if they were, you could just say you're making a clan.

And why do you feel the need to change your name on a weekly basis?  Is it that big of a deal to you?

Tried that already, though I guess every namechanger already knows my name, due to many requests or due to this thread, so it always got denied. Although nobody would believe me, that "Bl0rk" is a clan tag, that I want to remove... HAERK_Bl0rk to HAERK. Or Bl0rk_the_Fatkid to the_Fatkid. Bl0rk just doesn't sound even a little bit like a clan tag...

This community has the biggest douch bags for admins really...bribing for a simple name change. Or reputation PFFF the same people play this shit everyday why dont you enter that Show names cheat If you must know who everyone is. You think other players care about others reputation because I dont. I play for myself not for others. I rarely apply for name changes and they abide by the name changing laws its you fuckers who are living off welfare and declining my shit.

Y'see I have these two alts, Doozer and Doozin. My ocd compels me to SWITCH the names between the two alts because they fit the characters better. I've tried to achieve this by first changing Doozin to Doozy, then Doozer to Doozin, and finally Doozy back to Doozer. However this plan has not gotten off the ground floor as the first name request has been denied three times now. I'm not trying to escape a bad reputation, the names are similar enough that it's obvious. I don't have the option of retiring these alts, the plan was to level them up and have them around to be able to use as alternatives to my main which is what I spend my time retiring. Please, for the love of all that is obsessive compulsive, can I have these two names switched? I know it's a wonderful power trip to deny desperate people what they want, little though it might be, but c'mon. I mean, c'mon.

Doozy I see you everytime I play your melo and dont cause much trouble. But it doesnt matter because chadz put these adolescent mentally challenged kids as admins because they know how to copy and paste essays and they take advantage of regular players. I hope to see these maggots on the battlefield so I can personally give them dirt naps with no remorse.

I just tried to rename from Bl0rk to blOrk (small "b" and an "O" instead of a "0") . If THAT is not fixing typos, what else is it? Request denied.

Why not add the ability to change the words ahead and behind his name ?

Imagining that the person must provide a fixed principal name. You can then add this:
