aww... you beat me to it. I was thinking about making a map kinda like this based on the events of D Day of WW2. None the less i still will since itll look a bit different.

Looks nice. Youre getting better and faster at these.

Better than your first attempt with the snow. God that map is awful. Having played this one today, it was fun but really rough for any offense plagued by archers.

Now that this has been in rotation... any comments on how I can improve it?

Roughen up the terrain leading up the to the gates or lessen the amoutn of entry ways leading to the flag. Currently, it seems to favour offense a little.

Perhaps make a barrier to stop people from climbing the hill to the left of the left gatehouse. Would make it a tad easier to defend.

This map is nice, but the ladder that is near the gatehouse is hard to climb due to it being a little short.

Agreed.  ALso, what purpose does the gate serve if people can just as easily ladder up the wall?

Perhaps make this a leveler activated gate with some way that defenders can pop out without having to open the gate?

Basically you need to make the gate worthwhile to attack, some sort of benefit to having it there.  If taken should provide an advantage for attackers.

Also, I thought I saw attackers just walking around the wall on the far opposite end from the gate.  What purpose to any of these defensive barriers serve if someone can just walk around into the inside?

I did enjoy the map though.

It does serve a purpose for attackers to break, it lets cav flood  inside the castle. This castle siege is designed to utilize defensive and offensive cavalry in siege.
