I believe the average is on the bottom right. You can filter out most of the other data presented.

In game, my ping is 47-50s, usually in the 50s. It used to never go below 50 a few weeks ago. When the server was in Dallas I got 30s ping, but I got new internet since then.
ToD is a Karma giving machine.
Only reason I even took the time to post my pinghuehue
Why tears +1ing every post
Science!
Sweden, but i usually play on NA servers (posting since i guess you wanna check the ping of those that actually play on NA

texas: 52
location: seattle currently, but when I go back to tucson it wont change
EDIT: screw the texas server, host one in either phoenix or tucson for us few arizonans
Finally, Kansas is dead center geographically in the middle of the country, but I'm not sure what the internet situation is there.

Fixed to account for god-tier university internet.
Don't forget about Canadians. Moving the server to Texas worsens all of our pings.

Sorry to necro this topic, but did this server move ever happen? i.e. are the NA servers still in Chicago(?) or did they move to Tejas?
The reason I ask is that I have the opportunity to switch to an ISP that achieves ~15ms lower ping to the first IP address, but there is no ping improvement for the second IP.
Thanks
Moving the NA servers to Texas would be like moving the EU servers to Greece. It only rewards the shittiest part (with the shittiest people) of the continent.
My suspicion has been that Texas server would even out pings for more players, in that it wouldn't be as large a disparity between people with low ping and high ping. Instead, more people with low ping would be raised and those with higher lowered to a point that they're closer to each other, instead of there being such a large gap as there is now. So I plugged all the results from this thread into a spreadsheet, but I'm not exactly sure where to go from here to try and figure out what I'm after. Anyone with a mathematically oriented brain wanna help out? Either by telling me what to look for and what equations I might use, or I can link you to the googledoc spreadsheet.
In the meantime, here are the results from one method I thought might help elucidate what a move to Texas would entail, filtering out certain ranges for each location.
pings <20
current: 11
texas: 7
pings >20 <40
current: 38
texas: 12
pings >40 <60

You can kinda see what I meant, with most of the change being significantly more people included in the 40-60 ping range, which is probably considered an acceptable level. It feels fairer in any case, more people having more similar pings. Outliers are outliers in any scenario and will still exist, but for the majority it seems a move to Texas would help even things out by bring pings closer together.
In the interest of fairness I demand the NA servers be moved into my basement. Its only fair.
No they are in my basement.
Also do not move the servers. They are fine where they are.

Move the server to Texas!
I wish I got 30 ping, I wish I got 50 ping, hell I'd even take 75 ping.
Instead I get stuck with 90+ because somehow Chicago is the "fairest" place in America to host a server.
From Los Angeles to Chicago is around 2000 miles or 3219 km.
From Los Angeles to Atlanta is around 2,177 miles or 3503 km.
Essentially its an east coast server for me, if it was based in Texas I'd be very happy to donate but as it stands I have no desire to give out my money so east coasters can ping crutch.
I'd be all for a move farther west if it was also a little farther north.
Like Colorado, Kansas, or Nebraska.
Yeah, when connecting from Cali, the ping variation is so great. I constantly move between Nocal and Socal and I've had ping from 75-140 depending on the location and ISP. It's awful. I won't really complain at 75 ping but am envious of those below it. I can only feel pity for those with over 100 ping because I've been there. It just makes for very quick, unfun sessions with little to no enthusiasm (of course there are those special few exceptions).
Cradoc, you probably pinged the same location.
