Does the weight penalty on Athletics and AGI is lesser if you have more strenght?
That means if you have 18/21 Stats with 7 Athletics, rising your strenght will render your Athletics and AGI less affected by wearing heavy armor, making the AGI + Ath more efficient with more strenght when you do?

Yep.
Strength reduces the movement speed penalty from weight.

Thanks, do you know where you can find how much % of your speed each Lbs reduces your movement, and how much % of that % each point of STR saves you from that penalty?
The reason I'm asking is to know if 3 points put in STR would give you more speed than a 3 points in AGI (with +1 Ath)l with a heavy equipment (34 Lbs) with 24 STR 21 AGI (7 Athl), (rather than 27 STR 18 AGI -6 Athl). --Meaning 3 points in AGI with an athletics would be wasted with heavy equipment on foot as the STR would reduce the movement penalty more with that weight than the AGI and Athl would raise it
Sorry for asking, but there is no way to test it past level 31
I was thinking a balanced build with AGI and lots of STR could still make a pretty armored character running fast with the STR penalty reduction and Athletics at high level

I finally made a movement speed test on a complete flat 1020x1020m map.
I tested two different builds(0str/30str) with different carry weights(10/20/30/40/50/100).
carry weight= 0.0kg 10.0kg 20.0kg 30.0kg 40.0kg 50.0kg 100.0kg
0str 0agi= 3.49m/s 3.39m/s 3.31m/s 3.25m/s 3.20m/s 3.16m/s 3.02m/s
30str 0agi= 3.44m/s 3.35m/s 3.28m/s 3.22m/s 3.17m/s 3.13m/s 3.00m/s
carry weight= 0.0kg
0str 30agi= 4.08m/s +10ath= 4.98m/s
30str 30agi= 4.08m/s +10ath= 4.98m/s
The strange thing is, that strength actually lowers the speed if it has a higher value than agility.
Only if strength is on the same level as agility, you wont get any speed penalty from strength.
But now lets take a look on how much strength reduces the speed penalty from weight.
carry weight= 0.0kg 10.0kg 20.0kg 30.0kg 40.0kg 50.0kg 100.0kg
0str 0agi= 3.49m/s -0.10 -0.18 -0.26 -0.29 -0.33 -0.47
30str 0agi= 3.44m/s -0.09 -0.16 -0.22 -0.27 -0.31 -0.44
As you can see strength has an effect on the movement speed.
It's not realy that much, but better than nothing.

Just to confirm it Sevastian:
That test was done in cRPG?

No I tested it in my mod, but the movement related stuff is completly hardcoded, so it should be the same in crpg.
-
I have seen a lot of people talking about this, but the part that seems to be left out is that AGI is a lot more effective in lowering the weight penalty.
Also the biggest reason that strength builds can wear heavy armor is because they are not focused around moving fast, so the weight penalty is not as important to them.

 Cool! Thanks Sebastian, but are we 100% sure it's the same than Crpg?

I'm pretty sure it is...
Cmp knows more.
I can't test it in crpg, because I have no access to it's module system...
So I'm not able to port my agent speed caluculation script into crpg.

The more str you get the slower you become because you get more muscles! Hardcore porn star muscles.
