I've probably started similar or almost the same thread before some time. But bumping it is harder than making a new thread
Anyways, I'm still having the same dilemma and that is:
Why triple loomed leather armor has +4 modifier while medium and heavy armor have +5?
I've already got one possible answer to that question and that's because it's based on percentage. Makes sense in theory but that's not how things work in cRPG. Light armor is gimped even if you give it +5 modifier.
But if it's percentage based, why heavy armor has only +5 and not +6 modifier?
I'm aware that this is pretty trivial issue and won't make a change ingame but I still would like to hear valid reason why?
Heavy armor used to be +7, and light armor +5
The reason for the gimped low weight heirloomed armor is an elaborate plan to make many small disadvantages for archers the only class that really has to wear light armor or be penalized.
Same thing with Arrows vs Bolt heirlooms, and Crossbow vs Bow heirlooms
Should really be the other way around, bonus to light armor looms, pretty fragile already.
Its a conspiracy!
