Many schools in the West no longer teach cursive English, because its outdated and is past being useful in day to day life. It only took us 10-20 years to realize this and adapt instead of 2000 years.

Over a billion people don't have trouble using their language (Chinese). It's a tradition that doesn't need to be changed.
